I received a large sum gift card for a birthday gift. I was diagnosed with ********************* in January of 2023. I had several blood clots and was in the hospital. I am on chemotherapy and blood thinners now. I will be for the rest of my life. It makes my skin very sensitive to things. I bruise extremely easy. I called corporate with no response. I email corporate with no response. I contacted my local business and it took a long time to get a response. They refuse to refund the money. I asked if I could break it up into smaller gift cards to then be able to give as gifts and they refused.

I purchased a Massage Envy membership in *********, ******** for $65/month. The membership included one 60-minute massage service per month. Unused massages roll over and accumulate. In July of 2022 I moved from ******** to **************. I got my SC driver's license and completed a membership transfer form at the ***********, ** location and began receiving services at this location in August 2022. I then did not use any services for several months. I went to schedule an appointment today and was informed that my membership had been cancelled by the ******** location and that I would not be able to access the 14 credits I had accumulated (which cost me $910) unless the Maryland location would process the transfer (which I had initiated the previous August.) The ************** location cannot do anything because it was apparently still the Maryland location charging me monthly, until my credit card was replaced and my membership was cancelled. I have already paid $910 for services I have not received, and the Maryland location is blocking me from being able to receive services I have already paid for - that is absolutely unacceptable. I called and spoke with the "clinic director" who of course pointed me to the ************** location. From what I can tell, Massage Envy is set up to charge people in advance for services they have no intention of providing, and in fact are now actively blocking me from accessing. I either want my $910 refunded, or my account to be unblocked and properly transferred to the ***********, ************** location, as I initiated last August.
