Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 my wife was on ******* website ordering flight tickets and the transaction didnt go through. Googled JetBlues no. and called. ***** answered and never said he wasnt with JetBlue. He told her he would help her with the transaction. When he told her the price ($1,832.62) she told him the price that was showing on my computer was $1,382.62. He told her that was the wrong price. She asked him how come there was such a difference and he said the ticket price went up and there was a glitch in the system. She told him she could send him a picture of what was showing on her computer screen and he said no. She asked him again why there was such a difference and he said the tickets are going fast and if we wanted the seats he had to put the transaction through right now. He never mentioned that he worked for Air World Travel and not *******. Air World Travel billed us for $450.00. She called Air World Travel on Nov. 17th and left a voice message detailing everything and asked for them to call her back. When she didnt receive a call back she looked the company up on the Better Business website and saw the company had many complaints about them. On Nov. 20th she called Air World Travels and asked to speak with *****. When they asked what this was about she told them and ****** said he would transfer her to his line. A few minutes later ****** told her the reservations desk where ***** works was having problems, their computers and phones were down. He said ***** would call her back in an hour. After two hours wait with no call back she called ****** back and he said the phones were still down but he would have ***** call her back in three hours. ***** called back later in the night and he asked her what she wanted him to do. She told him she wanted the $450 charge to be credited back to my credit card because she thought she was speaking to JetBlue and he never told her otherwise or there was a charge for his services.Business Response

In this case also the charge was done by one of the travel companies. They use our services to book tickets and take payment solutions from Air World Travels Inc. As per the complaints on BBB. We provided the resolution on all the complaints and all the complainants were satisfied with our resolution.For this particular case as well, we have already notified the same agency and have assigned the case to one of the managers. Transaction date Sept 6, 2024 for 502$ on my chase ***** under 'Air world Ticket'I had 2 tickets with ************** that I needed to change date to oct 22.I called swiss and was transferred to another agent who told me to make the change, it costs 502$ total (251$/pp).The problem is today swiss issued my ticket receipt and charged me for the date fare change, because, they say they did not have any trace of the 502$ I paid on sept ****, this 'Air World' never transferred the money to Swiss.Business Response

Business refunded the whole amount. I am very pleased on how quickly BBB addressed my issue. Noting that this business has many such complains and associated refunds listed on bbb site. Their 877 number pops up when searching for ************** on ******. It does NOT belong to ************** and unsuspecting customers are tricked into using it, thinking they call ************** (like I did).

I thought I was talking to ******** ******** to make a reservation from Phoenix to Santa Barbara in November. RICK said he could help me so I gave him the details of dates, flight # and seat #.
He never told me he worked for a travel agency. He said the cost would be $l,000.xx. I asked him why the online info said the flight was $762.95 & he said that was the STAND BY FEE. I should have know right then that something was wrong.
He said if I had any problems to call him at ###-###-####, extension 405. This travel agency has charged my Visa card $499.05. I feel this is fraud, I was lied to. I want them to refund my money.Business Response

I canceled tickets with delta it has been more than 2 months and a half. ***** issued the check refunds and confirmed that these were cashed out on 20/05/2024. The agency is not refunding the money and keeps saying that they didn't receive any refunds, It has been now more than 2 months and a half and we are turning in a circle!!! In ********************* case as well, the tickets were issued by us but the booking was sent by a sub agent. We understand issue which Mr **** ****** was facing and were continuously in contact with ************** to resolve the same. We verified that ************** did issue the cheque but because of their error, the check was sent to the wrong agency.
We have already clarified and had received a new check from the **************. And has refunded the amount to the same agency which sent us the booking three days ago ( The screenshot of the email is also attached ). We have already told them to initiate the refund to the card holder.
They might have called the card holder and informed about the same. If Mr **** ****** has any questions or is facing any problem regarding the same issue, we request him to reach out to us.

I want to discuss a problem I had with this dishonest agency. On May 12 /2023 I was calling an airline and I don't know how the call was redirected to this agency. Mr. ****** **** answered the phone and I asked him about a credit that I have had in my favor since last year with a certain airline. He answered me yes. I told him that I want to use that credit for a trip in August 2023. The first quote he gave me was a very high sum, I told him it was very expensive. He told me "don't worry, I'll look for you on another airline". I asked can I use that credit with another airline? and his answer was YES. He gave me a Value of $989.70. ticket total. So I proceeded to pay him. My surprise was when I verified the purchase at my bank. I saw a payment to the airline of $573.97 and another payment to this agency of $424.85. So I called my bank and gave the cancellation order. and immediately enter into a dispute with the bank because I did not understand that division of values at that time. Mr. ****** told me that one was the value of the ticket and the other the value of the Taxes. I told him that those taxes were very expensive. I also went to check the confirmation of the ticket and checking I found that the taxes were already paid within the purchase of the ********** I don't have the ticket because Mr. ****** immediately canceled it. I contacted the airline and they told me that the money was returned to this agency. I was only able to recover the $424.85 So I do not recommend this ************** it is a dishonest company.Business Response

We work as a link between Airlines and Agencies. In your case also, Wayfarer E-Commerce sent us the order and your card was charged. At the time of charging we even received an authorisation form from Wayfarer E-Commerce.
However as soon as we were notified by our bank that there is some problem that the card holder is facing, we notified Wayfarer E-Commerce and even called them. We even initiated the refund for the amount that was charged. We have all the email records. For us customer comes first. We do not have any problem in doing refund.
We even reached to Wayfarer E-Commerce that what the issue is because the communication was between the Wayfarer E-Commerce agent and you. But as soon as we received this complaint we made sure that you get what is best for you.
So the amount that was charged has already been refunded and we have received an email from Wayfarer E-Commerce which is a conversation between Wayfarer E-Commerce and you that states the flight has been booked and you are satisfied now. We are attaching the screenshots for the same as well. If there is any other issue please let us know.
And we as Air World Travels Inc also make sure that no harm is done to end users.

Booked airline tickets for my husband with ************* on 4/25. Attempted to book for myself, thinking we had option of companion ticket- we did not due to it expiring days before. While trying to make standard reservation for my ticket was put on hold. The person who came back on the line to assist us, after much back and forth, claimed to be able to reserve ticket for cost of 150.00, 22.40 for fees. I ask several times if he ("James") was with ******. He stated he was. Told us to use our credit would require us to authorize payment be taken out for ***************** for *************. We did and payment was confirmed.. Due to fly 9/14 and ********* has no record of ticket in my name. I had called the customer service for ** over the summer and as recently as 2 weeks ago because my ticket never showed on the airline's website or my ** account. Called the number on the invoice from Air World travel. I was told ticket was on their booking screens, and it would appear when my husband's boarding pass was sent. Person I spoke with said my companion pass was on their system but was canceled by ** 20 days after we booked the tickets. Called ** again. They said because the pass expired, they never booked nor cancelled a flight in mine or my husband's ticket. Guy I talked to today said he needed 3 hours to check on a refund and would call back. I never heard of this company. They charged me a fee for changing a flight date. I booked the flight on Southwest online. I also made the flight change date on Southwest sight and was charged $76. by them for the change. Air World doesn't return calls.
