    I had an appointment with **** ***** at Black Label Tattoo for 4/9/2024. He had my $200 deposit for the appointment. I emailed with images to finalize my tattoo after several appointments with him. He told me that I missed it, that it happened to be that day(4/4). I never received confirmation of appointment nor did he contact me to say I missed it. He said it was a misunderstanding but I tried to reschedule for three months and he never responded to my emails. Finally, I contacted the shop owner and **** emailed me to say I forfeited my deposit when I did not show up, despite having never scheduled an appointment on 4/4 but on 4/9, which I verbally confirmed at the shop on 2/20 and added into my calendar. This is obvious as he never contacted me for a missed appointment nor to confirm my appointment. I always confirmed with him myself and was doing so on 4/4 via email. Rather than rescheduling, he decided not to mention anything regarding my deposit or rescheduling despite months of reliable appointments from my end. He has stopped responding to my emails again. I have reported him to *****, as he accepts payment that way. But, all I want is my deposit back for the service he refused to provide. The 200$ carried over after I paid in full on 2/20, and he acknowledges keeping my deposit in our email from 7/5 that only happened after I contacted the shop owner. I do not want to leave negative reviews due to not wanting to affect the business of other artists so this is my only recourse.
