)n Fed 21, 2024 i had a scheduled repair at South Side Tire to repair leaking axel seals and replace the break shoes that had gotten wet with oil from the leaking seal. On February 29, 2024 i took the car to another mechanic who reported as part of their assessment that the axel seas were leaking and the break shoes were wet. The same rear axel seals that i paid south side tire 1400 dollars to repair. I called south side and the owner is refusing to honor the repair, refusing to refund me, or redo the work which is under warranty given that it was done 2 weeks ago. He hung up an me and refuses to speak to me I have to get the seals fixed again as it is not safe to drive and the new repair and new break shoes with a different mechanic will cost 1400 . Since south side is refusing to refund/repair, I want my money back so i can pay for the second repair . i have all the receipts for the original repair if needed.

The date of the work done was February 14, not the 21st. I have the receipts and will have the receipt from the exact same work that will be done - rear axel seals in two weeks when I have an appointment.

I have also contacted the attorney generals office, filed a dispute with the credit card companies that paid for the original repair  and if  the owner of south side tire **** ****** does not respond will be filing a civil.court complaint against him as recommended by an attorney.

I paid for work not done two weeks ago  , he refuses to honor the warranty, which  the second auto shop verified with him that there is   active leak in the seals he supposedly  repaired when he contacted them .  This second repair of work already  supposedly done  is costing me a lot of  time and money and stress given that the leak has affected the breaks and I don't have a second car..this car is my only means of transportation .

Al I want is either a refund or for him ****** for the repair at the second ******** but his refusal to speak to me has necessitated the need to escalate the situation.

I am rejecting this response because:

The second shop has photos of an active leak that was found two weeks ago  two weeks after the supposed repair of the axel  seals and they have to be repaired again which is scheduled for this coming Thursday. The rear right brake rotor is coated with fluid from the  leak. South side contacted the second repair shop and was told there was an active leak and I do believe the second shop.forwarded the photos to him  as proof . Either way I will have the documents and will forward the photos as soon as I take it to the second shop for the re- repair of the axel seals.leaks. in

    Sincerely,

    Lilyana -hursey

Of course the failed repair was not evident when the car was given to back to me .

Because I had to take it to a second ********* it was at that time, exactly two weeks after I picked it up.from South side, that with zero promoting from me, they discovered the leaking seals that were supposedly repaired. It was also discovered that the fluid was super low which is probably why I did not see anything on the garage floor, as I did when I initially discovered the problem.

When the car goes for the second repair of the seals , I will attach the  photos as evidence .

How is it a good faith effort on his part when I've had ****** for the same exact repair twice because he did not do.itbright the first time????

How is it good faith when he won't speak ***** or give me a refund or pay for the second repair for the axel seals
