    On August 8, 2022 we signed a contract with Joe Boisvert, the owner of Biosvert Woodworks, llc. He presented himself as a knowledgeable licensed contractor. Joe was given a deposit of 3,235 dollars. The work to be performed was to have the following
    1. Living Room Column 17 1/4” X 8” floor to ceiling using reclaimed barn wood (grey)
    2. Foyer Column 9” X 9” floor to ceiling using reclaimed barn wood (grey)
    3. Hearth Base- wrap hearth base with reclaimed barn wood (grey)
    4. Living Room Mantle 75” X 6 1/2” X 8”-12” using a reclaimed beam
    5. 2 Kitchen Floating Shelves 6’ X 3” X 12” using a reclaimed beam
    6. 4 Kitchen Floating Shelves 15” X 3” X 12” using a reclaimed beam
    *The 2 columns and hearth base will be cut and installed on site.
    After multiple text messages and months later Joe finally arrived with a few products. The living room column, foyer column and living room mantle were delivered and installed. The living room mantle is not the correct color which we explained to him during install, yet he continued to install the mantle. He stated he will fix the color once it is installed at his next visit. The foyer column was not assembled correctly and he stated he would come back and repair that as well. He asked for an additional deposit of $4500 to complete the job and to have additional framing performed. The check was written on 11/2/22 and deposited. We have contacted him multiple times via email, text message and phone calls. He stated several times that he would be at home and never showed up. I have taken off several days from work and he did not show up and did not communicate with me. His last text message on 1/31/23 states he would be giving a refund. We have yet seen this refund. I have continued to attempt to communicate with him through email, text messaging. He has been ignoring all emails and text messages. We request that Joe refund us $7,735. This is a full refund for the deposits for the materials.
