      I’ve had solar panels since February and so far I have 3 issues with Sunburst Solar.
      1. The salesman never mentioned your monthly payment goes up after 15 months due to an escalation of your loan unless you pay down 30% of the loan. (Shame on me for not reading the fine print)
      2. We were told by the salesman that solar panels would only be installed on the front side of the house. After installation, we now have as many panels on the back as we do on the front. This isn’t the end of the world, but would have expected the company to update me if the plans changed
      3. The salesman told us that Virginia has a tax credit that would pay you $80 for every 1000kwz of power made (SREC). I recently found out that the value of SREC fluctuates and has never been sold for $80 in the state of Virginia.
      My next door neighbor also bought solar panels from the company and was not properly told about items 1 and 3 above as well. I didn’t do my homework so most of these things are also my fault, but I want to let people know what to look out for if you work with this company.

      I had a wonderful experience with Sunburst Solar from the beginning to the end. Their customer service was top notch. They had all the answers to the hundreds of questions I had. They made the entire process extremely easy. I can't wait to start seeing the savings on my energy bill..
