I signed my son up for tutoring at C2 and paid $6500 for tutoring services that were "discounted" if I signed up that day, so I purchased a larger amount. I was told that I had 10 sessions to use and if my son did not like them/ it didn't work for him/ he couldn't learn, etc. that I could get a full refund. The day I paid they were unable to schedule my son for tutoring. I waited to hear from them with the caveats of his schedule restrictions that they said would not be an issue (baseball on Wednesday and Saturday). I had to constantly contact them for dates and times and they could never get a tutor for my son for math. They were slow to respond and when they did it was too late to make the few times they proposed (conflicted with the prestated schedule). Ultimately, I had to find a new tutor and I requested my money back from them. They told me in order to do that I would need to come into the center and have a meeting with the director, who was not available for the next 1-1.5 weeks. I finally went to see the director and she refused to refund me any money stating that I was past some random time period (maybe 3 weeks?) that was never told to me before, but claiming is in the contract. They were never able to schedule my son for tutoring and so we were never able to go and now I am out $6500. How is this even legal to keep my money for services never rendered? In searching the internet to speak with corporate, that is a sham with no corporate leadership- website directs you to your local center. I have also found other people (in ********, **) who made the same complaints about them never being able to schedule her child for tutoring and keeping her money. It is a sham and needs to be stopped. I have a screenshot of emails, but would prefer to forward the whole chain.
