    Hey good day on dec 24 2022 i bought an axle for my 2006 ****** ***** from AUTO ZONE, I took the car to ****** **** AUTO REPAIR *** ***** ********* *** GAITHERSBURG MD ***** ***** THE MECHANIC #**********.He installed the axle into my car, I was charged $216. On the 6 of January 2023 on my way home i felt my transmission start slip I started to wonder what was going on, I barley mad it home. In the morning on close examination, I realize transmission fluid is leaking from the newly installed axle. I went to the mechanic and explained the situation he said I should tow the car to him, which I did, he called me on the 9th of January 2023 and told me that the axle I bought at auto zone was the wrong axle. I ask him to source the right axle and do the repairs because I needed my car for work, I went to pick up my car 5:20 it was not ready, so I paid repair bill of $561.24. I took the defective axle back to auto zone on my return back to the mechanic he told me the transmission was damage due to the receiving the wrong axle from auto zone. So now I need a transmission for my car I ask the mechanic the cost for a transmission and installation he told me $1951.15. I got the transmission installed seen that I needed my car for work I took all the bills to auto zone seeking some form of redress seen that they sold me the wrong part that damage my car. Since the 10th I have spoken to the manager at the auto zone in Gaithersburg she said she was going to help ,I have been back and forth back and forth ,and it as turn into one big blame game auto zone is blaming the mechanic and the mechanic is blaming auto zone which sold me the wrong part, all I want is the money back for my repairs that the defective axle cause too my car. Both parties don't want to take the blame and I'm just an innocent customer in all I spent $2728.39 all because of the wrong part given to me by auto zone that damage my transmission please help me.
