    Total Scam! Targets the elderly. Paul from Software Sockets, LLC charged the $399 (3 year protection) service fee. They sent confirmation emails and then walked my father through downloading the software. My father is elderly and has memory challenges. Software Sockets, LLC proceeded to charge my father’s credit card without his knowledge for $699 and $999. The credit card company called my father immediately to report suspicious activity. My father has closed his cc acct, frozen his credit, and filed a police report. Now he must re-image his machine. Again, this is a scam. Beware!

    Took my money then said they were going out of business and I needed to pay more money. First time was $700 for 3 yrs, told me what I had to pay while they were inside my computer. second time it was $300. same things. called their second company *** ***********

    I have been the victim of a scam by Software Sockets.co I was led to believe this company would provide me with Tech support and Security for my computer for a period of three years. The price was $699.99 which I paid. Okay, I know now that was very foolish of me. My only excuse is I am 88 years old. I know now I was not furnished with either tech support or security. I have now belatedly checked on the company and found they have been found guilty of scamming other senior citizens. Much too often! Why are they still in business? How can I get my money refunded? Any advice will be appreciated.
