    On April 7th 2023, I went to Perfect Touch to have an audio Sub woofer installed on my 2015 Dodge Charger SRT. He (****** *****) informed me of what he would do to add audio bass to my car. He quoted me $750.00/$800.00 to install One 12"Subwoofer and Amp. including install fees. I felt that price was a bit high, I agreed to the price. He told me I needed to put down a $500.00 deposit for "materials". I paid him $500.00 on that same day.. I returned to his shop on 4/12/2023 for installation of the sub woofer. It took about an hour, I listened to the radio and it seemed fine at first but I had no Idea what I was in store for later. He then tells me to pay the balance which I assumed was $250/$300, but charged me $1263.00. I told him that was not the agreement & that price was too high! He then said $1000.00. Which was also not what was discussed. I told him I had $400.00. He gladly took it! $900.00 is what I paid to him on that day. As I left to go to work, i smelled "hot metal burning" So I checked the amp and speaker and saw that the speaker was literally "SMOKING", I unhooked the speaker and called him to let him know what happened, I was told to come back to the shop. I went back the next day (4/13/23)to have it removed. He said it was covered with warranty and that he'll order a new speaker. I waited about 7 days before I received the new sub. (4/20/23). Before I left, ****** said theres a "break in period on the speaker" and not to turn the music up for 24 hours of play time. Which I was not told to do the first time, but I said ok and kept the music at very low volumes for about 2 weeks or so. On 5/15/23 I was riding on 95N. and started smelling something burning again, I pulled over, opened my trunk and the entire speaker was on fire! I had to put the fire out with my jacket and rags. I was burned on my hand & was in the hospital with 1st and 2nd degree burns. My trunk has fire damage and i missed 4 days of work. I then reached out to attorney for advice.
