Csl plasma in glenburnie has giving me 6 hematomas in a little over a year I've been going there due to complete negligence of management and employees. It's really bad. They need to be shut down.

Mr. ******* is fully aware of the risks in donating and (hematoma's) bruising is one of those risk. Mr. ******* is is also aware the donating is not guaranteed. Apologies were offered to Mr. ******* which appear he is not excepting. Our staff is fully trained and Mr. ******* was treated well within the guidelines of policies and procedures of CSL Plasma. Mr.******* should revaluate donating. For donating is not for everyone. We appreciate Mr. *******s efforts to help save live and again offer our apologies for his inconvenience.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: That response is from a company not taking accountability for there actions. They broke many of there own policies on my last visit and many others times since going there. Employee Ashley put needle in my arm and left. Noone checked on me the whole time. There alarm on the machine they use was going off for over 20 minutes.  One Employees came and looked at machines and just walked away.  It's all on camera and the machines keep a record of alarm times. Finally I had to flag the manager down and I told here that alarm had been going off for over 20 minutes and my phlebotomist had left the floor.  Manage tried to adjust needle with no success.  Then they pulled me off and sent me on my way. Later that day I had pain in my arm and numbness in my fingers. 2 days later I went back to talk to Brian the head manager there and told him the whole story. He held no accountability or resolutions for the problem and didn't seem to know his own policies. I'm hoping a camera was in that office of my meeting with him because it make them look horrible. There alot more to it and I need to talk to someone. When im done with this I'm calling oshea and my lawyer.  I really hope an investigation is done properly because this place will get shut down for many violations. Since they don't want to take accountability. Mr Brian especially. I will do everything I can to make sure the things don't keep happening to someone else.

    Sincerely,

This business does not practice ethically and is very unprofessional and is very poor in delivering exceptional customer service. I am a platinum donor who has been donating there for 3 years and donating twice a week. They claim they need people's donations but they pick and choose who they want to donate. They have been picking on me for the last month. They tried to defer me from donating several times by saying I was sleeping and to them they define sleeping as closing your eyes for a second. There are certain phlebotomists there that try their hardest to defer you by saying your sleeping even if you are not. The latest deferral they did to me was saying I was sleeping in my car which I was only taking a nap waiting for them to open and they said I have bedding which I go camping every weekend which I use the bedding for. It is not illegal to take a nap in your car. I feel they are nit picking on me just to prevent me from donating permanently. This is poor business practice and the top managers should be aware of their poor business practices. I feel my privacy has been violated. The resolution I would like to take place is to have a top manager or owner to contact me and reverse the deferral as I have done nothing wrong to deserve this abuse. Please have someone get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you, Lee

    to me

    Greetings Ms. Pigott,
Firstly, let me apologize for not responding to the 10/3/2022 deadline. Here at CSL Plasma it is very important that our donors must provide a permanent mailing address on file with the center. This is a requirement in order to donate. We are required by the State, FDA and the GHA (German Health Authority) all of which we are sanctioned by to ensure that every donor has a suitable mailing address on file. On occasion that information gets challenged or compromised when a donor moves and does not let us know or if it appears that a donor has been misplaced from their current living situation. Once it is discovered that a donor is identified of not having a residence or has moved from the original location that was provided upon initial registration. Proof of residency must be provided, Lease/Rental agreement, Utility bill or Mr. Wiers situation a Notarized Letter from the residence in which he resides. Mr. Wier did provide a letter, but it was not Notarized.

Mr. Wier has been a loyal donor for some time now, Mr. Wier unfortunately fell into what appeared to be in an uncompromising position, appearing to be living out of his car.
Mr. Wier was asked to provide a Notarized letter to verify his address. Mr. Wier provided a letter, but as stated it was not notarized. Unfortunately, Mr. Wier cannot donate until he provides proof of address. I am sorry this complaint has come to the BBB, but we have guidelines that must be followed. Hopefully Mr. Wier will be able to continue helping others by coming back to donate plasma. I do apologize for the inconvenience, and it is my intention as manager to always be compliant and in good standing. Thank You for your time, if you should need any further information feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards
