    All Above Plumbing was contracted to replace 60' of water lines to connect to the sewer pipe. The scope of the work was modified and the owner, *** ******, stated that he identified the issue after replacing roughly 20' of pipes on Friday, May 5, 2023. Due to the change in scope, *** ****** stated that the remainder of the payment would be $1,000 and that he can only accept a credit card. We authorized a $1,000 charge. When we checked our bank statement All Above Plumbing charged our card for $2400 (unlawfully deducted an additional $1400). I've called the plumber at least 3 times and left messages. The so-called 24 hour plumber has not returned my call and it has been at least 72 hours. In addition, he was to guarantee his work for ****. Im sure he won't return after scamming us so the warranty is null at this point. In total, All Above Plumbing was paid $4800 for a job that was quoted as $3400 ($2400 initial deposit plus $1000 final payment).

    On July 23, 2022 contracted the All Above Plumbing company to install a new water tank heater at my rental property in MD - *********************************************** for the amount of $1100. Work was completed on July 25, 2022 and after negotiating charge was reduced to $1000 and a check from my credit card was written to the company in the name of ******* ****** - ************* After a couple of hour Contractor called and informed he could not cash the check. Distraught about the situation, I agreed to ***** him the $1000 and he agreed to rip the check once he received the funds. Funds were remitted to him via ***** in the amounts of $100 and $900. On August 8, 2022, when I received my credit card statement I discovered that in addition to accepting $1000 from me via ***** he had also cashed the credit check of $1000 (he lied about destroying the check after receiving ***** funds as promised). I called the company on August 9, 2022 to complain about the mishap. A lady, Heather, in the office - 410.553.7698 told me it was mistake and that the $1000 will be refunded immediately. Since that day I have been calling both ******* and Heather but neither is answering their phone.
