      Many workmanship deficiencies. See below:
Leon painter was running low on deck over paint, and rather than buy more deck over they decided to thin the remaining balance with water to try and make it make it last/make enough for the remaining job. I challenged the painter that this was not the correct way to apply deckover, and also challenged him on many other workmanship deficiencies. And that’s when Leon painter lost his temper and packed up his tools and left the job site. Behr customer service has advised that that thinning deck over does VOID the Behr deck over warranty for the work that has already been done. Behr also advised that thinning deck over with water will cause the paint to fail more sooner than later. Thus, the entire deck will need to be repainted with deck over. Leon did NOT use deck screws on the replacement portion of the walkway, they used nails. All new boards should have used deck screws, just like the 12 boards they replaced on the deck. Leon did NOT apply 2nd coat of latex paint the 1 x 4’s around the windows. They only applied one coat. Also, Leon did not surface prep the arch around the window before applying 1st coat of deckover. Leon never pressure washed the missed lattice prior to deck over paint. They just painted over the dirt. Two deck supports: Leon did not allow the first coat of deck over to dry before applying the 2nd coat. There are ugly paint runs on multiple deck board ends and other places. There is Overspray on the concrete. Multiple areas that required wood filler were not filled. Rather than letting the first dry and return to finish the job, Leon insisted on applying the second DECKOVER COAT OVER A VERY WET FIRST COAT on deck boards and railings. Leon did not apply two coats on two of lattices. I had to pay a handyman $450 to remove the over spray aprons, all that blue tape, and all your other sorted trash and to pack up and move those many bags to the street for pickup.
