I took my truck here and was supposed to have a NEW transmission with specifics installed, almost a year ago. I had the truck for close to a week and it was acting up. Took it back several times to find out the transmission is messed up. They didn’t put enough oil it in the first time, which is likely why it’s not working. They also had me fix other issues that had nothing to do with the transmission, before they would look at it again. After fixing those issues the transmission is still not up to par and the truck is sitting... It’s still under full warranty since I haven’t been able drive it far, haven’t even put 1000 miles on it. Now they won’t fix or replace the transmission, I can’t drive it and I’m out $6,000 plus $3000 in interest from my credit card.

Dear Mr ******* and Ms ******,

Sorry you are still having issues with your 1995 F350. It has been here several times. The truck has many performance issues that will not allow the transmission to operate properly. On Mr *******’s Repair order *******, on 3/26, the following issues were noted. Lack of throttle response due to Turbo Issue, Turbo boost performance, exhaust pressure sensor. Also loss of throttle.

I am sure Mr ******* is frustrated, but this 30 year old truck has issues that need to be addressed to have proper transmission performance. The presence of these codes will cause the transmission to not shift correctly and even slip.

The transmission is still under warranty. What I would like to suggest is that I have my lead diagnostic Tech at my other shop check the F350. My other shop is *** ******** ************ in Essex. I will provide a free tow to that shop.   If he concurs there are external issues causing transmission issues the must be repaired. If he say there are internal transmission issues, we will happily replace under warranty.

I can be reached at shop or my cell. Shop 410-********* Cell 443-********

Thank you for making me aware of this issue and I want to get this resolved. Mark S**********. President.
