      When a business says to stop in for a courtesy inspection and then bill you for that courtesy, thats just plain wrong. On 12-13-24, my wife and I stopped into this business to question the charge from a courtesy inspection 3 weeks ago at this dealerships service dept. The tech who diagnosed my dodge truck was as inaccurate as you can get but was still charged $81.50. I read other reviews about this same issue of customers getting courtesy inspections in October 2024 and other people were charged, but much less. Still, I think the word courtesy is a technique to charge unsuspecting customers when they may or may not have an issue. I left with a sticky note and not a mention of being charged. Invoice was received via a text message and not an actual invoice which should be changed as well. I shouldn't have paid the money, but I did because we don't need a credit hit for $81.50. This company needs to be fair and have one rate for a service if they indeed charge everyone, the customer in October paid $58 which is on a google review. Technicians at this dealership need additional training especially when a tech doesn't know oil from transmission fluid or water. Still waiting on a call back from the service mgr but I know we won't receive one.

      Mark *****, Service Director/Manager at Diehl's Ford Sales has been trying to contact the customer to resolve this issue. He was not at the dealership when they visited on Friday 12/13/24. They left a DealerRater review on 12/14/24. Mark tried to contact them Tuesday 12/17/24 and had to leave a message. He again called 12/18/24 at 4:15 pm and left another message and sent an email at 5pm. On 11/19/24 at 1:51 pm he called and left a third message asking for a return call and the ability to discuss this issue with them so we could remedy the situation. We would like to find out what repairs were done to take care of the vehicle leak, if it has been repaired, so we can guide our technicians to better serve customers in the future.
