    I purchased a used trailer in March 2024 and took it to Thermo king Chesapeake on 19th of April for full service. I paid $482 for service that included oil, air filter, fuel filter change. My trailer had an issue in August and had a mechanic inspect it. During inspection I found out that at my last service Air and fuel filters were never replaced. The air filter was so dirty that reefer was not getting much air at all. The fuel filter was also very dirty. The only thing shop changed was the oil filter and oil. They clearly charged me for air and fuel Filter on the invoice. If I didnt open the unit I would not have known my unit was running on old fuel and air filter. According to mechanic the air filter was atleast 12 to 14 months old. When I called the thermoking Chesapeake service they refused to take responsibility or the mistake and blamed that filters could get dirty fast. I showed them the picture explaining this is not a few months old Filter but atleast a year or older filter but they didnt want to hear my complaint and refused to talk to me about the issue. I showed the filter to 2 different reefer mechanics and both agreed that the air filters are more than a year old as they were so dirty that the plastic had melted. I requested the shop to change the air and fuel filter but they refused . I have air filter as proof and will prove to anyone that this is not 4 months old filter. I am extremely disappointed with the service and their manager as both were not willing to listen or solve my issue.
