    Started a contract on 5/12/2022 to remove drop ceiling and fix the drywall ceiling of 4 rental units. Contractor took down drop ceiling (new panels) and ruined 90% of panels. After 3 months contractor did not make any progress and agreed to cancel the contract. Agreed that he spent ~$1800 in time and materials and reimburse me $5200. He wrote me a check but after depositing the check was returned (bounced). It has been 3+ weeks since returned check and after 10+ attempts to get the reimbursed funds he still has not provided them. Looking to just get reimbursed for the check amount he made out to me that bounced.

    Check was finally received in the mail. Accept the businesses response and him at least paying me back for the $5200 of the contract. Have not received the windows yet for the property or any reparations for damaged drop ceiling but am at least satisfied with return of payment.
