On August 29, 2024 I received and agreed to an invoice for total of $3600 to remove my aged metal porch awning and build a new wooden structure roof., I would supply the steel roofing but they charged me for it and agreed to take it off the total but didnt. He finished 9/13/24 I paid balance amount plus an additional $650 to begin another project. I was made aware of the poor workmanship and the steel roofing sheets were not completely fastened down and could be lifted up from the structure. The trim is falling off it was attached with caulking. After several days of steady rain the roof leaked and caused the wooden ceiling to warp and separate from the framework. Im am unable to open my storm door without it hitting. The ceiling and trim work at the top is discolored and brown water stains are trailing down the post. I contacted Evergreen about the situation sending them photos. I gave ******* 10 days to schedule a removal and a refund including the overpayment for work not done which they agreed and scheduled a day, but again did not show instead sent an email claiming his attorney told him not to remove it. I showed all the photos to several licensed and seasoned contractors who informed me it is poorly built and is non repairable and structurally built incorrect and will probably cause damage to my home in the future and will not hold up to a heavy snowfall. This porch is only a month and a half old. The owner of this company refuses to make things right with me. Leaving me with an unsightly structure that continues to fall apart. He kept money that was he was overpaid and has failed to return it after numerous requests. This company has misrepresented themselves by agreeing to build a poorly built structure onto my home that he had no knowledge or experience to do so.
