I hired this property management company to manage my properties. They stated I owed them $17,052.38. After numerous months of constant bill collector activity, they then came back and said they found the money in another one of my properties that I already paid them, and they were transferring the money to the other property they were managing for the past due bill. How do you just misplace customer's money, especially such a big amount. They company they hired to do their books clearly was not doing a good job, so they hired another company. I thought this was finished and I didn't owe them anything else and now months later all of a sudden, they are sending me bills stating I owe them more money. That last bill they sent me they said that was all I owed them and now they are changing their story and stating I owe them more money. They came to my property without my permission or without giving me a call ahead of time to remove their lockbox and then charged me a fee for removal of the lockbox. If they acted in a professional manner and called me or emailed me, I would have taken the lockbox to them instead of them charging me a fee without any contact with me at all. This is very unprofessional, and I expected better than this considering we have been working together since 2019. I haven't worked with them since last year so there should be no new charges on my account. It's very frustrating and unprofessional and not the way business is supposed to be handled. They are slandering my name to other local businesses stating that I owed them money even though they were wrong and eventually found the money that I had already paid them. What kind of business professionals would slander other businesses and then not apologize when they realized they already had my funds, and they were wrong. I do not owe them any additional money. I want them to zero out my account and never contact me again and return my security deposit of $500.00.
