  Buyer Beware!
  TLDR; I was scammed out of my deposit by this company, got another opinion from a window replacement company who advised me to not replace the window and to a company in Hagerstown MD who was able to repair my window for a fraction of the cost.
  Full Story: I contacted this company as I was told by an inspector to repair my window. I found this company online and was impressed by the reviews. I spoke with Lisa over the phone and provided her the information on the property and was advised their business practice was a $150 deposit to come out and evaluate the window. Lisa seemed knowledgeable and played the “we are small business and operate with integrity” card, which I fell for.
  Before agreeing to the deposit I called my husband, who is also a small business owner, and my husband told me any company with practices like this is a red flag. Well we are out our deposit and I have told him time over again that he was right.
  I told my husband we should go with this company, let’s support another small business! Well they went out, told me my window couldn’t be repaired and needed to be replaced. I was quoted an exorbitant amount for a replacement window “minus deposit”.
  I got a second and third opinion from window replacement companies and both said to repair the window! I was directed to a company in Hagerstown MD who solved my problem at a fraction of the cost.
  Additionally, I asked each company for quotes to replace the window for comparison to this company- both were half the cost and didn’t give me flack for asking questions. There are legitimate businesses out there - this company is not one. I can only try to protect others from this company and from their false business practices.
  Learn from my mistake. A business that requires a deposit for evaluation is not trustworthy. Regardless of if you need window repair or replacement — go elsewhere with your business!

  At no point and time did Lisa misrepresent All Fore Exteriors LLC. She advised that "if" I was able to come out and fix the window I would and you called our office 3 different occasions and spoke and reviewed the protocol with Lisa. I was in the office at that time and advised her I could go out in the next day or so. After contacting your tenant you called back and advised Lisa that one of the times she gave you was good. I am sorry you feel this way and at no point and time did she misrepresent anything, this was a Service Call for windows that were installed by another installer, I have to pay for my Gas and Time to come out and access the situation. The Invoice that you signed and agreed to said the following:
  ' Customer Called with an Issue with Kitchen Window stating it will not stay up sounds as if possible balance issue not sure if the balance needs to be adjusted or if needs to be replaced. If the balance needs to be adjusted, we can take care of that right away on location the day scheduled to come out and access the situation.
  The Service Charge is $150.00 for a base service of coming out and accessing and fixing that window without any parts or replacement of window. This includes just adjusting the window if possible and making the window work correctly.
  If a balance is needed and balance is not able to be ordered due to age of window.
  We will give you a price to replace that window only and the Fee of $150 will be credited to your price of window replacement, if you choose to move forward and replace that window. "
  Lisa also advised that if the window could not be replaced AFE would provide a replacement cost for the window and you were in understanding on the phone this was pointed out several times. We are a "Family Owned Small Business" and we have integrity and we stand behind our "Integrity". You are more than welcome to submit a bill showing us that someone else repaired this Window and we will give you a FULL REFUND of your $150.00. We are not out to get rich off of repairing windows we do this as a courtesy.
  I am sorry you feel the way you do and felt that you needed to post such a negative post. When you could have submitted the information that you provided above that a Company was able to provide you the service you needed and we were not. This could have been settled a different way.
  I have directed without you submitting us the information that I typically would need submitted. For Lisa to refund you Immediately, as for I have more Respect and Integrity than the $150 that you paid us.

  Also we are not a "Window Repair Company" we are Remodeling Company we do this as a service for our Customers typically. You contacted us, stated people "Our Customers Highly Recommended Us" so we came out to try and help you. The Companies that you had out I am sure without looking at the estimates were basic off the shelf windows, as for the windows in your Rental are Basic Builders Grade Windows (off the shelf window @ **** ***** or ***** would have been half the price I quoted) Lisa has refunded your Money, but I would really like to see what you are comparing my services to compared to what you were given.
