They reject claims, tell you you’re not eligible for quotes, and kill pets. I had an active account for over a year with them on like their platinum $50 per month plan. Then I file a claim for a checkup and get an email - sorry our company is having issues and it’ll be over 90 days before we can review this. Then our cat needed an x ray and surgery - they tell me they can’t tell if I’m covered and it’ll be more than 7 days to know. I want my money back to out toward this bill. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Worst experience with Pet Insurance ever. I regret switching to Wishbone. I filed a claim a month ago & so far all I've gotten is an apology for the delay. I signed up for the Pet Insurance & Wellness Care. They're currently avoiding my Claim by LYING about not being able to process my Insurance Payment. Even though my Account was Active at the time of the Vet Visit & at the time I Filed the Claim. They had no problems processing my payment for the Wellness Care which uses the SAME Credit Card. We're talking about a Vet Bill under $200.

An absolute **** of a company that couldn't care less about pets and families.
I paid for insurance for two pets for over a year before one of the pets suffered a series of injuries that required advanced and expensive veterinary care. I didn't spare a second thought to paying for these procedures - my pets are my babies - but it helped to know that I had insurance I thought had my back.
Nope! After I submitted the claims, I heard nothing for a entire month. Upon contacting Wishbone for support and asking why I hadn't heard anything back, I was told accusatorially that it was my own fault for not getting a response as I had failed to upload the necessary historical medical documentation. I asked where this requirement was noted and was directed to a single line in an obscure document and also included incorrect information referencing getodie.com.
Nevertheless, I reached out to my vets for the documents and uploaded them. Once again, I heard nothing for weeks. When I contacted Wishbone for support, I was told again that I had failed to upload the documents. I had proof via email and brought that up and was then told by the support team member that oh! suddenly they saw the records I had uploaded after all and they'd move it along. No one took any accountability or apologized at all during this process.
Once again, I did not hear back for weeks after that conversation until I started receiving rejections for all of my claims. The reason for rejection was that I was told the reason for the injuries was an underlying pre-existing condition. And yes, we did find out it was related to an underlying condition... one that my pet was diagnosed with months AFTER starting Wishbone Insurance. Isn't that... exactly what insurance is for? I went through several rounds of appeal to no avail. So now I've been paying for months just for them to process my claims and reject them.
Save your money and your pets by choosing another option.

I thought I was signed up for them. Turns out there are multiple parts of the insurance so I was not signed up. Then I signed up, turns out there is a 2 week waiting period. In that waiting period I brought in my cat, they said she needed x-rays. I checked and then had to wait. Then I called to make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN x-rays would be covered. The woman on the call kept saying yes, yes, yes, it will be covered. I have been fooled by insurance multiple times, so I asked her to check again. It turns out because I took my cat in during the 2 week waiting period, it DOESN'T COUNT and now I am going to pay more than $1000 of x-rays because their policy is not clear. I am extremely upset and cannot believe how often pet companies like this fool you with fine print. Now I am spending over $1000 on x-rays and over $500 on yearly insurance for absolutely nothing. They are an example of what's wrong with this country. Insurance says you need it but in the long run they screw you over any way they can.
