    Last time spoke to Great American was on November 30th, 2022. They referred me back to Carport Satisfaction. Last spoke to Carport Satisfaction was January 31, 2023. She was asking if I heard back from the county and I responded saying no. That we still needed missing info from them. They should not be selling in *******! nly are on a loss for the money we spent on engineer plans but also money given for a deposit to lock in our rate. I am requesting a full refund in our deposit!

    Great American Structures is not the responsible party for this complaint.  We were simply a dealer for the manufacturer, Carport Satisfaction.  We do not handle permitting or blueprints.  Our role is strictly processing orders.  This complaint should be directed to Carports Satisfaction, Mt. Airy, ***  

    Here is some additional information regarding this order.  

    Ms. ****** neglected to obtain a permit prior to purchasing a building.  As stated in her contract which is attached, the customer is required to handle all aspects of permitting.  She chose to purchase prior to obtaining the required permit.  *********** was not involved in the blueprint process because we do not handle that.  However, the customer's request for a refund is invalid since she did not follow the proper procedures for obtaining a permit prior to ordering.  It clearly states on her signed contract that the down payment is non-refundable and permitting is the responsibility of the customer.
