On Monday, July 8, 2024, I took my 2013 Nissan Rogue to Monkey General Auto Repair to have it diagnosed for a damaged sensor. The mechanics were supposed to only use the scanner to detect possible causes, but unfortunately a mechanic proceeded to disassemble parts of my car without my authorization since they had not even given me an estimate. In the process they manipulated the airbag system without disconnecting the car's battery and exploded the airbags and damaged the airbag system computer (I took photos of the exploded bags and the shop mechanics inside the car). The cost to replace the airbags and the computer they mistakenly damaged is $7,832.20. and they don't want to be responsible for paying me.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

I am rejecting this response because:

Unfortunately, *************************** only listened to the version of his workers who caused the damage to my vehicle since the shop manager and the receptionist did not want to provide me with any way to contact the owner. Fortunately, I was present when the workers caused the damage to my vehicle and I managed to take several pictures before they covered up the mistake they had made. I took my vehicle for a diagnosis due to a light on the dashboard and they returned it to me with the airbags exploded, the airbag computer damaged, and the airbag compartment broken due to the activation of the airbags by the Monkey Auto Repair mechanics. I ask that they be honest and a serious business and that they pay me for what they damaged.
    Regards,

We cannot refund the customer because he was not charged for anything.

vehicle came and left in the same condition.

When Mr. ****** ***** owner of Monkey Auto Repair responded to my claim he mentioned a light on my car's dashboard but never about the airbags exploding and it's obvious that his workers are trying to cover them up after making the mistake. In the evidence that I presented (several photographs) it is very clear where they were handling the exploding airbags, I imagine that after Mr. ****** sees the evidence (photographs) he will try to change his version of the facts. I would like to let Mr. ****** know that if the case goes to court I will request that he compensate me for the time lost in this case and that he reimburse me for the months that I have paid for insurance for the time since my car was damaged until the date of a resolution.
