      On 3/17/2023, Maryland Eye Care Center charged me $144 for optical lenses. They also billed my insurance company the full amount of $210, which included "add-ons" that I never asked for. The eye center falsely added an "anti-reflective coating" and "polycarbonate" that I did not request and were disguised as "*****" on the receipt. My insurance has informed me that I am not responsible for the full amount of the lenses, even if there are "add-ons" billed by Maryland Eye Care Center. If my insurance does not pay the full amount, Maryland Eye Care Center has the responsibility to file for a tax write-off. If they choose not to do so, it is still not my responsibility to pay for the rest of the amount billed. Moreover, the prescription on the lenses is not accurate and would worsen my eyesight. Additionally, I never received the lenses. Maryland Eye Care Center scammed me out of $144 and failed to provide the product. I demand a refund. When I tried to contact Maryland Eye Care Center a week after purchasing the lenses, they did not answer my calls or messages. The service I received from this business is shameful.
