    This company did work on my leaking chimney around in June 2018. They installed a new concrete cap, as well as a stove with a chimney liner. Fast forward to 2021, and I noticed the chimney was leaking. I contacted the company and they came out and replaced the faulty cap they installed under warranty. Fast forward to December 2022 and again my chimney was leaking. I called the company and they came to do another inspection. The contractor told me the concrete cap was totally fine, and to call his brother to have the chimney wrapped in siding to stop any water penetration. Sensing a conflict of interest, I called a different contractor and they immediately found cracks and holes in the concrete cap, which they found also settled badly leaving it sloping toward the flues. Water would in essence flow directly to the cracks and holes and into my chimney. Another contractor that deals with siding came to the same conclusion. I also sent one of the contractors a photo of the wood stove adaptor and liner, and they said it was installed improperly.Other contractors have now quoted me $3800 for proper repairs of the chimney and liner/adaptor for the wood stove. I contacted this company again and told them what these other contractors found. They agreed to fix the crown or refund me $800, but took no responsibility for the unsafe adaptor on the stove and blamed it on other contractor's evaluations which would require it being "reconnected for safe use", as they put it in an email, admitting it's not ******* other contractor has looked at or evaluated my stove in person. The adaptor has not been touched since it was installed. I asked The Chimney Doctor if they could fix all of these issues, but they have not responded. Most concerning is their employee lied about the condition of my cap, recommended his brother for future work, and unsafely installed the flue liner adaptor to my wood stove. I honestly have little trust they can do the work properly at this point.
