      The Southern Maryland Family Dental Associates, LLC is a TERRIBLE dental office. Usually overcharges dental treatment by managing claim codes submitted to Carrier in order to reach the highest monetary gains. Even in network they will make sure you'll pay way more than you should. In addition, the dentist, Dr. ******* ***** tends to perform dental treatment specialists such as orthodontics (Invisalign) and periodontal diseases when he has no skill or qualification for that. For Invisalign he does not track the dental alignment and does not care if aligners are not fitting properly. It does cause gum issues. I am having to see a periodontist and might need a gum grafting surgery. Dr. ***** is a general dentist but is very greedy. A true and dedicated professional would recommend their patients to a specialists and not attempt to work on the issue like he does. Bottom line is a very poor dental care and an overcharged bill. You have to fight to get a monetary refunding from this dental provider. They always overlook the carrier EOB and if you do not insist you'll never receive a refund from them. Meanwhile they will try hard again to resubmit a claim under a different code to get more from insurance. In addition, you'll have to pay more to see a specialist when you find out that his lack of skills only caused more dental issues. However, Dr. ***** has no problem with Tort/medical malpractice lawsuits since has THREE of them in his resume... He is very well round at this rodeo. I wish I had searched info about his dental practice before. He is very deceptive. He misleads the patient and say later it's not his fault if the patient has not made research about him not being an expert in a speciality such as orthodontics but he does offers the service and offers a lecture in his website about braces/orthodontic treatment. Run from this provider!
