On 8/15/2023 I left a deposit of $300 for the above company to check a coolant leak, brake fluid leak, check brakes and check horn. My total was $1,214.03 and balance due after work was $914.03. My vehicle was bought back on 8/17/2023 at 8am. My vehicle was worked on for nine hours as I stayed at the shop with the vehicle. Around 6:55pm I was told my vehicle was ready. As I got into the vehicle I noticed my horn was not working so I entered back into the building informing the intake person. The intake person was very apologetic and asked if I could bring the vehicle back the next day in the morning. This was 8/18/2023 so I said yes. As I left the shop went into 450 traffic and made a right turn on ************************* Road my brakes gave out. I was unable to bring my vehicle to a complete stop. The more I tried to bring the vehicle to a stop the more the vehicle began to go faster and jerk. Then I begin to start calling on the Lord and the vehicle stoped in front of a church. My call wouldn't go through trying to call the shop to inform them so I called my daughter and she called the intake person. A tow truck was sent out to pick vehicle & me up and bring us back to the shop. The intake person continue to apologize and got a ride to take me home. On 8/19/2023 I received a call from the intake person that my vehicle was ready for pickup. The invoice shows the mechanic droped some type of fallen debris into the system, horn replaced and the rear brake were readjusted. I find that the mechanic and business showed gross negligence putting myself, others and vehicle in harm's way. Talking to the mechanic was like a slap on the hand. My incident could had been a fatality to myself and others. I strongly feel that I should receive a refund of some type. My vehicle still have a small jerk when I take off but nothing like the violent jerking on 8/18/2023. I never play my radio in my vehicle. There's also is a noise that I never heard before but it comes and go. Thank You!
