Our washer we had of 20 years was overflowing water. Our warranty service (Cinch) was very helpful; we've been customers with them for as long as we have owned the house. The warranty service picked Absolute Appliances Repair to come out and fix the washer.
The first repairman comes in and says "Oh, you're overloading the washer" to my wife.
First off, I do the laundry normally.
Second, if it was something as simple as overloading the washer, don't you think we would have figured this out with a 20 year old washer?
We called them back and said "no, this thing is broken. Please come back." The same guy returned to our home and realizes "oh, you're right. The water level sensor is not tripping. Even if you set it for a small load, it fills all the way. THAT shouldn't happen."
Yes. We _know_. That's why we called YOU.
The guy said he would order a new sensor, and it would be here in the next day or two.
That was on a Tuesday. We didn't hear from them at all for the ENTIRE WEEK.
We tried calling, and no one answered. We'd leave messages, but then their voice mailbox was full. We had to call the warranty company, and THEY couldn't reach them either.
A week later, we finally reached Absolute Appliances Repair. The guy who answered said the repairman was incorrect, it could take up to THREE WEEKS to get the part to us.
Three days later, our warranty company contacted us and told us the repair service claim the washer could not be fixed. They said they would cut us a check to buy a new washer. At NO TIME did Absolute Appliance Repair tell us they couldn't fix the washer. They never followed up with us, and we could never get in touch with them.
So if you're looking to get an appliance repaired DO NOT USE Absolute Appliances Repair. They will take your money, they won't fix your machine, they will never call you back to tell you what's going on, and then ultimately will say "the machine can't be fixed" when you try to contact them.
