    On May 22, 2023, at 8:21 PM, I visited WTL Tag and Title at 13919 Baltimore Ave #3, Laurel, MD 20707, to obtain tags and title for my used ***** ***** * (Transaction ID: ***********, Transaction Type: **, Title Number: ********). During the transaction, an employee named *** mistakenly processed the title and registration as a new car, resulting in an overcharge of $871 for excise tax. After realizing the error, Ola sought assistance from her supervisor, ****. **** assured me he would rectify the situation, contact the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), and issue the appropriate refund for my used car. He told us a check from the MVA would arrive in the mail. However, after weeks of waiting, I have yet to receive the refund. On June 7th, 2023, Ola texted an image that included a tracking number (see photo) for what they claimed was a MVA Refund Request, but the number did not work on the ***** site. After continuous calls and texts to the business, **** then asked me to visit the store for a direct refund, which he provided via check on Wednesday, July 18, 2023 but the check bounced on Friday, July 21 due to insufficient funds in WTL Tag and Title's account. **** then promised to send the refund through ***** on July 21, but he has been unresponsive ever since and failed to provide the refund as promised. I seek the BBB's assistance in obtaining a full refund of $871 from WTL Tag and Title.
