    I attempted to rent an apartment from this company which was originally supposed to be ready by the 1st of September. I paid my hold deposit on the 23rd of August. When I hadn’t heard from them I called only to find out I couldn’t move in on the 1st because that apartment was rented. I had to vacate my current place by the first because as per the text message the apt would be ready on the 1st. I was essentially hopping from couch to couch and had to store my furniture because of the confusion . I was then told that IF other tenants moved out by the 31st of August then another apartment should be ready by the 18th. They were supposed to call me to let me know if that was gonna be the case. So on September 1st after not hearing anything I called and was told by the person answering the phone that they had no clue what was going on and that they would have someone get back to me. When I did not hear back from anyone that day I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE but to make sure I had other arrangements. I then requested my deposit/hold back and was told it was non refundable. I don’t think that is fair because it was not my fault I was essentially homeless waiting for them to get an apartment ready. Their lack of communication and following through with their commitment of the 1st has resulted in my finding other arrangements. I feel I am owed that money back!

    I received a phone call two days ago, stating that I would get my money back but as of today I do not have it as soon as I get my money back I would be willing to close this case and or withdraw my complaint

    This issue was resolved by them returning my money to me, so I would like to cancel this complaint if it all possible thank you for all your help.
