    I am sharing this review based on my recent experience with PowerHouse Generator(.net) regarding warranty service for my generator. The generator was still under warranty, and the company initially performed a round of work that unfortunately did not resolve the issue.
    Following that, we had a phone conversation during which they explained the situation and sent me an estimate for additional work and parts that they claimed might not be covered by the warranty. I agreed to that estimate in good faith and promptly paid the amount in full. They proceeded with the work, and the issue was finally resolved.
    However, after the work was completed, I was surprised to receive an invoice for nearly double the amount of the agreed-upon estimate. The new invoice included charges for work that had already been performed—some of which was understood to be covered by the warranty. At no point was I informed in writing or verbally that the cost would be increased, nor was I given an opportunity to approve any additional charges.
    While I appreciate the successful resolution of the technical issue, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency and the billing practices involved. I believe customers have a right to rely on estimates and to be informed of any changes before they are billed—especially when warranties and prior agreements are involved.
    I attempted to resolve the matter by communicating directly with the owner, *** ********, but unfortunately, to no avail.
    I hope this review encourages the company to improve its communication and billing protocols going forward.
    I recommend that anyone working with PowerHouse Generator(.net) document all agreements in writing and confirm warranty coverage thoroughly before approving any work.
    Do not confuse this company PowerHouse Generator(.net) with the different entity Powerhouse Generator(.com).

    The work in question was performed over one year ago. The PowerHouse technician made six trips to the customers house to complete generator repairs and get the generator running repairs and get the generator running. The generator was left on-line, in auto after repairs were completed in January 2024. At the time of service, the customers generator  was covered under the manufacturer warranty for parts only. Labor was no longer covered under warranty and the customer was made aware of this before subsequent services were  completed. In addition, the customer was sent a quote fo addition, the customer was sent a quote for additional repairs that the generator needed that PowerHouse could not submit for warranty. The customer approved these additional items. The customer paid the amount of the additional quoted repair, but refuses to pay for the diagnosis and labor for any of the visits to repair the generator, including the initial diagnosis.Warranty claims for all of the parts needed to fix the generator were submitted to the manufacturer and paid by the manufacturer. Labor was no longer covered under the manufacturer warranty which is why the customer was sent a bill. At no time did PowerHouse try to deceive the customer. The customer was sent a bill for the initial service call in December of 2023 and only labor for subsequent visits in early 2024. The customers account remains unpaid, 385 days past due. PowerHouse has not charged any late fees or sent any unpaid invoices to collections.
