Around July 1, 2024, I took my 2019 QX30 in to Nationwide Infiniti for a routine transmission flush. I was told the that I had a Mercedes engine and every Infiniti Dealership was not equipped to perform these services. Nonetheless, Nationwide was equipped to perform this service. After test driving the car, the service advisor came back with recommend repair which totaled to approximately $4,300. No problem, do everything. I want my car in tip top shape. Included in this list was a set of new car tires. After 8 days the car was ready, as I pulled out of the service area I noticed that my car was not quite driving right. I thought that it just needed to be driven, and it would be okay. However, after a hour the check engine light came in. I pulled over on the road, and called the service advisor and informed him of the situation. I told him I would wait a day or two because the situation might resolve itself, stupid me. Upon taking the car back to Infiniti, I'm hit with another repair bill now for $4500, and there's no guaranty that the car will be problem free. When I brought my car in initially, my check engine light was not on. I feel that in "fixing" my car they damage something else. Whether it was intentional only God knows. I had a bolts to the engine loose. I was told that because of this, it damage other parts of the engine. When asked why wasn't I inform of this before, so I could have made an informed decision I was told they had no way of knowing what parts was damage. Service Manager said he had no Chrystal Ball. Wicked Witches has CBs. I wonder if any repair cars. So let's put this in perspective, I was giving my car back and told that everything was fine. Only to drive out the showroom and the check engine light comes on. Also on list of repairs, these secondary repairs are not listed because the car was not damaged. I had to have a new engine and transmission put in the car by Nationwide when I had 777mi on the car, but thats another story.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Chris the service advisor told me on Wednesday $950 when I called and asked how much to get my alternator replaced in my G37. I gave him my vin number and everything. We had a decent conversation and he even called me back to tell me the cost. Drop the car off Monday morning and he calls and tells me it's $1,450 now!!! Ask what happened to the $950 and he plays dumb like he doesn't remember talking to me! Ask him how I know his name then and he acts like he doesn't hear me. The man has got to be in his 30's so he doesn't have Alzheimer's. Avoid him at all cost if you need to take your car in for service or get everything in writing. Declined the work of course and when I picked up my car I had a conversation with the service manager. Basically told him if Chris the lying advisor had told me the $1,450 at first I wouldn't have even bothered bringing my car in. He took care of the ridiculous high diagnostic fee for me, and I appreciate it, but it still left a nasty taste in my mouth about ever giving these people my money again. I think the $950 was the real cost but they don't follow the book time there but go by whatever the tech says charge. If you have a car out of warranty don't waste your time here because it seems they don't want your business. Volvo had a program where they gave older cars a 20 percent discount on service. Infiniti needs to follow suite. The young lady cashier was nice though.

We apologize for the inconvenience as the original advisor had a family member at the hospital taken to the hospital that morning and could not come to work. On the 1st appointment we diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed parts for the return visit. We then also had to wait for authorization from the extended warranty company which we obtained. Still not a normal visit brought on by an emergency situation which we once again apologize for. Thank you for your understanding.
