      I booked a house through Taylor-Made based on a great description, photos, and positive guest reviews that I read on the company’s website. My family and I found the house to be dusty, dirty, and dated. We found hair in the freezer, grease all over the toaster, dirty kitchen countertops and cabinets, mouse droppings under the sink and in the oven drawer, dusty furniture, hair and dirt in all of the bathrooms, dusty lamps and wall decor, ceiling fans with cobwebs, dead bugs in the corner of a bedroom, and more. There was even a toothbrush left on one of the bunk beds. A pipe in the utility room began leaking and water ran across the floor and out onto the carpet. Maintenance responded quickly, put a bucket in place to catch the water, and asked us to monitor the bucket and empty it which we did multiple times. Also, upon arrival, with 14 people in our family and registered, there were only 9 sets of towels in the house.
      I called customer service as soon as we discovered the filthy conditions after checking into the house. They responded quickly each time I called and tried to take care of the issues. A house cleaner came to the house while we were out having dinner but only addressed a couple of the issues so I asked that they come back. A different house cleaner came out the next day and cleaned up the mouse droppings and the bathrooms. The house was in dire need of a deep clean from top to bottom. The pipe was a major repair and could not be fixed until we vacated the house. I realize that Taylor-Made may be at the mercy of the homeowners who may choose whether or not to conduct deep cleans and to replace old stained carpet and furniture but this is a property that Taylor-Made should not be proud to represent. I was also surprised not to be offered ANY compensation other than apologies and sending maintenance and house cleaners to the house.
      I will not be renting again through this company as there standards appear to be sub-par.
