    i bought a camper from economy rv back in august. when i did the walk through i found a soft spot in the floor. i expressed my concern with it and they agreed to look at it. they informed me that it is a bonded floor (wood foam wood) and the foam has started braking up but they if i was ok with them keeping it for the night they would fix it and i could pick the camper up the next day. i agreed that it was a condition of purchase that they would fix the floor. soon after i brought the camper i found out they lied and the wood on the floor was rooting and there "fix" was to cut a board to fit the spot and screw it to the frame. they hid the rot and never properly fixed the concern, in that time they agreed they would make it right and help my camper for 4 months before doing the same patch work job and never fixing the rot. i have given them 3 attempts at fixing the floors now and they have yet to do so. they keep trying to mask the problem. if they would have told me from the start that the floor was starting to rot then i would have passed on the camper from the beginning.

                This response is in reference to Complaint ID# ******** made by ***************************. We offered multiple times to have the front compartment repaired after he was not satisfied with the repairs made on it. Economy RVS offered to pay for the repair to be done outside of our service department as an alternative option. **************** refused to let the Economy RVS service department made any additional repairs and declined an outsider doing the repair as well. **************** wanted Economy RVS to buy back the camper. Economy RVS did purchase the camper back on 5/2/23 which was a mutual agreement between **************** and Economy RVS.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I only took the offer to pay off the loan and not buy back the camper becouse I was left with no other option. I gave them multiple opportunities to make the repair they agreed to make when I purchased the camper. Every time they attempt to repair it the only tryed to hide the problems better. I asked for them to just buy the camper back they said no. I asked to atleast give my my $2,000 down payment so I could go buy another camper they said no. Becouse they lied and hid a serious problem on a camper they agreed to repair and couldn't I am now out $4,000. As a customer I should never be out of my pocket becouse you can't run your business honestly. I took they loan payoff becouse it's the only option that was left where I wouldn't have to deal with a rotten camper.
