Contract signed on 5/23/23 for a sidewalk, patio, covered porch & asphalt driveway. Told job would take 2 ½ - 3 weeks. Pd $5K deposit 5/23, $5K 6/1 ($6900 due at completion) Demo on sidewalk began 24May. Work wasn’t daily and not more than a few hours on days worked. I communicated urgency to get my project finished. Major issues with patio. A huge crack formed the first day far larger than any other heat crack. Grading was not done properly because water pools in front of the door. Because soil was never replaced to the house erosion occurred permanently staining the patio. I want to plant ground cover to prevent this but can’t because it’s not filled in. Saw cuts were too deep resulting in ant hills at cuts. Stone posts were supposed to be at the edge of perimeter of patio. When the 4x4s were set & electric installed there was dead space between post & edge of patio. I came up with the idea of a base being poured to add interest & utilize space between posts/perimeter. None of the post bases have been measured correctly meaning the posts will not be centered once installed. The ‘good’ half has ripples in it, scratch marks from their equipment & boot mark when it rains. My soil they temporarily moved has settled into the ground. Yard can’t be properly maintained due to unused equipment. A Bobcat has been stored at my property for weeks without use. My driveway has been stained with cement & the cracks have worsened since their heavy equipment has been on it. My street is unsightly & my house has become an embarrassment. I’m seeking a totally repoured patio (4000 psi) w/posts installed properly w/lights & railings repainted/installed as promised w/guarantee. Top soil filled to the house level w/sidewalk & filled/graded away from patio & shed pad. Any tracks/holes left from equipment filled & seeded. Split rail fence & small rail replaced. Stone façade on step rise. I am looking to discontinue contract due to breech/untimeliness.If necessary a mediation is requested.

This complaint has not been 'Resolved Satisfactory'. The Resolution was supposed to be $5000 refunded to me within 30 days of 23Oct2023 and I have NOT received any refund. Today is Tuesday, 28Nov2023. Attached are the photos of my property and the frigid weather will only make matters worse. Please let me know what the next step is in recovering the promised resolution.
