    06/09/2024 fixed car for leak. Still leaking. $1800 spent. Drove 8 miles.

    The customer ******* ******* brought his 2007 ***** Accord with ******* miles on it to our shop on 06/05/2024 for a very bad power steering leak. I found the Rack and Pinion steering unit was leaking power steering fluid badly. I gave Mr ******* and estimate on the replacement of the Rack and pinion steering unit. Mr. ******* authorized the repairs and brought me a deposit on 06/07/2024 to start the repairs. The repairs were completed on 06/11/2024. Mr ******* picked his vehicle up on 06/11/2024. Later that day he called me and said his vehicle stopped running on the highway and was smoking underneath. I told him to have it towed back to the shop. I found that his engine had an internal failure and came apart and put a hole in the oil pan and a hole in the side of the engine block and oil and pieces of the engine were exposed. ********** was leaking all over. Rack and pinion unit was not leaking. We are not at fault for this. We replaced the Rack and pinion steering unit and it is not leaking. I am sorry the customer had engine failure but we did not work on the engine. There will be no refund.

    I have the same issue I paid to have fixed. I have to put oil absorb under my car. My engine was good now it's not. I drive the car a couple miles and my engine is blown. Seems like someone raced my car engine, blew it out and doesn't want to take responsibility. I commute 30 miles to work. I have been there for years. Not only that, but I got was fired from my job because of Golden Ring Truck & Tire's negligence. Furthermore, I paid $1800 and still have the same issue, I need this issue fixed before I get fined for spilling fluid in my parking space. I was bamboozled. I return my car, and they say it's my engine.

    The only repairs done to Mr. ********* 2007 ***** Accord was a Rack and Pinion steering unit and I was the only person to test drive his vehicle. I am the only person in my shop that test drives customer's vehicles. I own and I run this shop. This shop does not open unless I open it and I close it. Every customer that comes in deals with me and know body else. Every vehicle is inspected by me before the customer is told what is needed to ********************** their vehicle. How dare he say that I raced his engine and blew it up. What happened to his engine comes from lack maintenace to the engine that has over ******* miles on it. How dare he say that I was the reason he lost his job. The maintenace on your vehicle and your job is your responsiblity not mine. Who is trying to bamboozle who!
