We scheduled a birthday party for 11/24/23 with this business and paid an initial deposit of $100 on 10/20/23 using ******** to phone number ###-###-####. We have been to a birthday party here before, and understood it to be a legitimate business. On 11/16/23 we received a text confirmation from ###-###-#### saying that they had our party scheduled and they requested the remaining $300 due on 11/17/2023 which we subsequently sent to ******* **************** with a name attached of ****** ***. We did not hear anything more and showed up to the business, today 11/24, to find the business has apparently been shut down. Upon seeing this, we texted the ###-###-#### number and they belatedly responded that they regret to inform us that due to unforeseen circumstances they were closed this weekend and we can reschedule for next weekend. They also said they cannot accept phone calls until next Friday. Upon looking at ****** and **** reviews, it looks like this has happened to at least two other people recently, and even going further back. The business appears to be closed down so it looks like they are just trying to take reservations and get peoples money. Upon further review of the business, it is registered to a Jessica ******, who also had a previous business registered named ******** ******** ********** ***. The cell phone number ###-###-#### also appears to be associated with a Jessica ****** (****).

I booked a birthday party for 3/11/23. I booked it in January and was told that make up would be included, I could have 7 adults attend, and the $100 deposit would be the only non refundable. 4 days prior to the party I was told I would have to pay the $75 for the makeup. I did. However after I paid the $393.00 I was told no more than 4 adults could attend. So when I said I wanted to cancel after all the miscommunications and incredibly rude staff I was told they would be keep the full $493.00.

First, we don’t have to reply to BBB so second attempts threats don’t matter. It does not regulate the law. We stick by our policies and legal backing. Your complainant has made several posts slandering us as well as lying so others would claim to have dealings with us and post reviews. We are working on the slander and attack at the moment. No , she will not get a refund she canceled and not us. We can provide her text and documentation to the courts.

    Thanks

The company not only stole my money but publicly stated I was refunded when I was not- thus committing fraud. Legal action has been filed as this is not the first business this owner has had that commits theft and fraud.
