Our phone call with Megghan was very helpful, to say the least.
She listened to, and put into perspective, our concerns/situation. She pointed us in the direction of resources and tools for our situation, which at this time, isn't her full coaching services. During our conversation, it was clear that Megghan is in this "business" to truly help families, first and foremost.

It is hard to know where to start with telling you how MTC has changed our lives and what it has done for us. If you have ever felt like you were alone and no one understands what you are going through with your child…MTC will become your home. A place where you can get answers and results. A place where you can feel apart of a family. A place that truly wants nothing more but to show you how happy your life/family can become.
The MTC program is incredibly intuitive and is lead by an amazing team of professionals that will guide you as they open your mind and heart to a new way of parenting.
My husband and I have grown so much since enrolling in MTC. We have been hand led through parenting strategies that MATCH our situation and not someone else’s. The problem I had with reading parenting books is that they never matched our situation and it was so frustrating to want to do better and putting effort into something that never helped. With MTC they listen to you and meet you where you are and what you actually have going on. It was incredibly refreshing and such a relief to find MTC.
My husband and I are committed to making generational changes for our family. We wanted to parent our kids in a different way than we were parented and that is what this is for us. This is also how our children will know how to parent their children.
MTC not only has amazing strategies, but is there to help you with the mindset piece as well. They guide you how to get through your old knee jerk reactions when parenting and leave space to start making new, more effective reactions. You will become more in tune with yourself so you can be more in tune to help your children and strengthen your bond with them.
I know I’m sounding like an ad, but I have never been so sure of anything as I am with MTC’s ability to help.
Our family still has ups and downs, but we finally have to tools to parent in a safe, secure, and loving way that will only bring our family closer.Megghan Thompson Coaching, LLC

MTC transformed our family, completely. We have our life back more than I ever thought possible, enjoying time with our family without living in constant fear of the next explosive outburst!! It is AMAZING to feel hopeful for our children's future, and for a sweet time with them, TODAY.
Megghan and her team's coaching, training, and individual and group work with my husband and me have been transformational to our family after 9+ years of suffering without the skills we needed to understand and support our now 15 year-old. We had no idea what was happening with her every day, from explosive rages that could last 1.5 hours, to split-second aggression towards any member of our family at any moment, to self-isolation, crippling anxiety, and near inability to leave her room at times.
We lived many years of crying and hours of despairing conversation on a weekly basis, and uncountable moments of bewilderment. We tried counseling for her and for us, we tried parenting classes, we read many books.... what we were doing just seemed to make it worse. And I truly was terrified to consider trying another approach or to allow myself to hope for change.
This program has changed everything for us. I can say that with sincerity, and certainty. Not because it has a magic formula, but because Megghan and her team have created a step-by-step curriculum, and scaffold it with 24-hour support and multiple opportunities for live coaching calls each week. They teach the skills that we desperately needed, but they also coach parents to have their own transformative work of growing insight into our own actions and mindset.
I had to work on myself at the same time as growing my skills to help our four kids. It was A LOT of hard work, it took A LOT of commitment--but to go from despair to hope, to enjoy my family more, to be confident that my kids are developing the skills they need for their whole lifetime... our life is forever changed and we're now living the life we hoped for!!Megghan Thompson Coaching, LLC

We came to MTC at a point of overwhelm and despair. Our 5yo child was coming home from school with massive physical meltdowns (which was shocking as not modeled in the home). Our three hour meltdowns twice daily went down to very short outbursts and we were no longer in survival mode- and that was just in 8 weeks!
I cannot speak highly enough about the value this transformational coaching has provided- so much mindset work but also real tools/skills we can use every day. We have continued into their Mastery program for continued support over this next year as the coaches have been instrumental in helping us find stability.
After watching Megghan's videos about what a highly sensitive child/person is and the evidence based research that has been done in this field of care for decades I felt like someone finally understood ME (as an HSP) and my child. We knew there wasn't something wrong but rather a child working through his big feelings and we wanted to know how to support him through that while increasing safety and confidence from everyone in the home ( we also had a 8yo and 3yo at that time).
I am a physician and was incredibly grateful to find more information about the highly sensitive personality trait that allows me to now serve my patients more fully. I am certainly still providing appropriate referrals however I also have a better understanding of how we can truly support our parents and children without adding labels or diagnoses that are unnecessary.Megghan Thompson Coaching, LLC

When I came across one of Megghan Thompson’s coaching videos on ******** two years ago, our family was in a desperate place of disregulation and chaos. We wanted so badly to help our daughter, who was experiencing intense school-related meltdowns every day, but felt exhausted and defeated. Fast forward to today, and our days are calm and even filled with joy. Our daughter started middle school this year and successfully goes to school, completes homework and projects, manages friendships, and even is a star player on her school’s volleyball and softball teams…things we wouldn’t have even dreamed about a short while ago. I can confidently say the coaching at MTC is life changing. It helped me discover that I am an HSP (highly sensitive person), taught me to better manage my emotions so that I could teach my daughter, and set me on the path to healing traumas from my past. It’s really hard to put in words how life-changing Megghan’s program is. A true experts who knows, understands, and is tried and true over and over again with thousands of families. There is a ripple effect of what you learn from her as well. I am an educator that works with all students including students/families who have had trauma. The skills and understanding that I have learned through her program has changed the way I teach.
I had read, listen to podcasts, seminars that included parts of what I learned from her. But her program is like Star Wars Jedi stuff. She has included all the right parts, in the right order, and zeros in on the key points. You won’t understand it until you experience it. My husband and I entered this program last year and we were exhausted and felt defeated. We had absolutely run out of options for our daughter to get the help she needed and that we needed too! Counselors, psychiatrists, medications, play therapy, OT, nothing was working.
Our daughter is thriving better than she ever has and we are out of exhaustion and surviving.
Honestly I’m not sure what would of happened without this program!
This team is remarkable and after all the therapist and Doctors we have seen, this team is a treasure you will not find anywhere else. You also can’t find anyone who literally understands your kid from the moment you start working with them. Everyone else wants to throw out a diagnosis and a pill but no one was hitting the nail on the head. This team understands who your child is and knows how to help you become the best parent for your child. Their sales tactics were misleading and used identifiable cult recruitment tactics. I’m a mental health professional, and I was horrified at their practices. They try to put you in a vulnerable place and then ask for $12k, which they rationalize by inflating the cost of other mental health services. They specifically make it difficult to leave reviews (no option to do so on ******, ********, etc.). The worst part is they don't even explain what the services actually are. There is no recourse if you are unhappy with their services. I was told that if their program didn't work for me, it was because of me and not them. If you are considering using them, please look for the ****** threads discussing their inappropriate sales tactics.Megghan Thompson Coaching, LLC

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your experience with our company.
I reviewed your conversation with our team member that you scheduled two years ago. Parents contact us when their family is struggling deeply. In this consulting company, we only speak to prospective clients once they schedule their own call with us. It’s unfortunate that you are comparing our evaluation process to cult recruitment. That is a big accusation considering cult members groom their victims, isolate their victims and individually target their victims to indoctrinate whom they believe to be weak minded.
At MTC, we believe no one is fragile, no one is broken, and no one is too sensitive to feel empowered to influence their children towards regaining self esteem, resilience and a higher self-concept. Parents who work with us want to trust their parental intuition again, and follow a process that helps them regain their personal autonomy in raising their children. Those are the opposite effects of cult-like behavior. In my clinical career, I’ve worked with gang members, DV victims, sex trafficking victims and refugees and have extensive trauma informed treatment training to discern the difference between clear assessment and an invitation to make a swift, empowering decision to change one’s life when a family is struggling and predatory, manipulative behavior of an abuser.
We understand the process of discussing your family’s needs can feel draining emotionally, which is why our coaches make recommendations for services based on their experience, expertise, and dedication to practicing a high level of quality coaching and consulting. The services we provide are not comparable to mental health treatment as that would be inappropriate. We do take into consideration all factors families are experiencing in order to ensure we are making a proper assessment. We always require agreement from the parent before moving forward as this is a mutual vetting process.
Of course our services cost money and require a mental commitment to do the work, attend the appointments and ask questions during the process. No one needs to like how we do things. But for the hundreds of parents that get to wake up every day free of the biggest problem in their life - they are very thankful we do what works.??There are many, many reviews of our program. We have hundreds of testimonials that our grads happily send us. They share their stories on our podcast, social media channels, and group. I would suggest hearing from real grads of our program if you want a real picture of the results we get.??We only invite those into our services whom we know we can help. Most of our clients are happy and thankful for having their lives back. But no matter how we serve someone and love them - there will always be some people who show up uncoachable or more committed to their despair or busy schedule than their freedom. This has happened 1.1% of the time. Yes, that is slightly more than 1 percent of the time where we have had a grad of our program trying to discourage others from their own meltdown freedom. It’s crabs in a bucket mentality.
