    Ashford Concrete was hired to install a concrete patio at our home address. The patio to be poured the width of the house, fence to fence and constructed such that sediment and debris would not flow from my neighbor's yard **** ******** ****** during storms. Patio to be poured at 4” depth throughout, excepting the side by *** ******** ***** was to be poured at 5” depth, out to 8 foot from the boundary fence to accommodate installation of a grill gazebo. Concrete to be mocha brown color, stamped with woodgrain stamp, stained, washed, scrubbed and sealed. Removal of construction debris (wood forms, stakes, plywood, tools, etc…) and clean up of fence, house foundation and patio doors of concrete stain/debris. Existing patio stones to be removed and placed directly behind our fence.

    To date, My wife (****) and I have paid for the following items in order for the original slab to be poured. $1,730.42 for Cement (mocha brown colored) and $254.00 for the rental of the woodgrain stamps. Per request of ******* Ashford (owner operator) and our agreement, these costs were paid directly by the homeowner. In addition, $3,417.00 was paid to *** Ashford in good faith, in cash, on Friday, 3/29, prior to the job being completed. Total costs equaling $5,401.42, paid in full for services rendered.

    Several areas of concern exist–uneven edges, several spots in the pour that sank which left significantly noticeable low spots in the pour, general messiness of the stamp impressions. One of these spots was caused by a boot print. ******* with **** on 4/1 that all these items would be corrected and addressed by you and your team prior to work completing.

    Work remaining to be competed – scrubbing/washing of the concrete slab, smoothing of all concrete edges to smooth/even consistency, clean up of stamp impressions, correction of errors in pour, final seal coat(s), removal of construction debris, clean up of fence, house foundation and patio doors.
