I have reached out to First Home Mortgage multiple times throughout the 2024 year to find out about my options on how to assume my loan, options I have to be able to have the property solely on my name. I am dealing with a personal matter that requires accurate information. The most recent time I reached out was 8/6/24. I initially was informed that I can do a loan assumption and was sent paperwork. I called back and was told I no longer can do that since my name is on the loan. I called back and they said a court order was a possibility or refinance. I called back 8/6/24 and now only a refinance is my only option. Im dealing with a big life event and Im receiving inaccurate information.

I have been trying to assume my own mortgage as a now divorced veteran with a VA loan. I have not been helped with the process and have not been able to assume my own mortgage for over a year. I cannot get anyone on the phone to help with the process or even send me the package. Nobody has any idea what they are doing and the office workers simply said that a lot of people give up because the process is difficult. This is frankly a bunch of **. Any reputable mortgage company would easily be able to assume loan. Also, I am unable to make payments online, only by check. What age are we living in? The mortgage company receives my checks monthly, but had the gall to charge me a late fee for a timely payment. I need to talk with someone who can actually get something done with this company, or it needs to no longer exist.

Upon receiving Ms. ******* complaint, I escalated her assumption
request to the Manager of the Special Loans Department at our servicing vendor
to explore potential solutions. Ms. ***** was informed that she should furnish a recorded deed removing her ex-spouse from the title, after which her
ex-spouse can be removed from the loan. Although Ms. ******* March 1st payment was received after the grace period, as a courtesy, we are waiving the late
fee. Additionally, I supplied Ms. ***** with my direct contact
number should she encounter any further issues or delays.

Account Number: ********** Date of transaction(s): 12/27/2022 and 01/19/2023 Amount(s) paid: 12/27/2022 $1914.72 and 01/19/2023 $1914.72 Receipt of payment provided (provided in the attachments)Reason for Dispute:dovenmuehle/first home motgage did NOT apply the funds from my bank account, according to them, even though they sent me receipts and confirmation emails of collecting the money from my bank account, they did not collect due to insufficient funds(untrue). It took them more than 2 months to figure out they never collected the money and they took 3 months to contact me in regards to these matters... I found out when I got credit alerts for missed payments, this made my credit go down 200+ points. I plead with them and showed them the emails they sent me of my receipts they sent me showing that they applied the funds to the loan and they still did not work out anything with me. They told me they were going to immediately foreclose on my home if I didn't render payment.... I desperately plead with them to accept payment and to correct their wrongdoings of falsely reporting negatively to my credit, they refused to fix wrongful credit reporting and demanded i make payment or lose my home. The responses from the business:"Pay up, or lose your home, we don't care about false credit reporting, it's your problem not ours that sent you confirmation of receiving your payment but didn't. You have to pay."I even cited the following laws they are breaking.- 15 U.S. Code 1666 - Correction of billing errors - 42 U.S. Code 1011 - Penalties for fraud - 42 U.S. Code 408 - Penalties - They refuse to send me a debt validation letter - 15 U.S. Code Subchapter V - DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES - They refuse to send me the following 1. Original contract with WET INK SIGNATURE 2. ORIGINAL Creditor Information 3. Payment history with ITEMIZED billing associated with the ACCOUNT 4. ***** of ownership documentation proving they are legally authorized to collect.
