My car was illegally towed. There was no sign posted in the area. I was told they only take cash and was not provided with a receipt. I was told to sign something and was not shown what I was signing. They charged me 350 and had my car for a few hours. I have pictures of no signage but they will not upload.

I spent the night at my brothers apartment complex and my car was towed. My brother put the wrong pass in my window he put 2024 instead of 2025. Long story short my car was towed while the ebrake was on. This did damage to my ebrake and possibly brake calibers. Ill know more about the damage when the car is checked out. When I asked the company for their insurance information the told me to F off and I wasnt going to get my car back. I did take video evidence from the passenger seat while the ebrake was still engaged before I had to drive off their lot. The employee there was really really rude and talked to me like a thug. I would like to just get their insurance information to get my car fixed. This should be considered **** truck driver negligence.

My car was towed from ***************** and ********** by Mc-N-Mc Recovery LLC on Saturday June 29, 2024. Upon arriving at the ******, I had lunch at ************************************* **** This was cut short however, when I learned that my car was being towed. This came as a surprise to me considering the sign posted in the parking lot, advertising two hours of free parking for *********** customers. Getting my car back resulted in a personal loss of $330 for an error on the part of Mc-N-Mc Recovery. I am asking that Mc-N-Mc Recovery LLC acknowledge their shortcoming by refunding the money they unfairly charged me, and committing to more just business practices going forward.

I parked in the parking lot next to ************* (************************) on 4/23 and it stated "Public Parking" and looked like an overflow lot for the restaurant. I was there for less than an hour with some friends and when I came out my car was gone. I called the number listed on the towing sign and they said they had my car. 3 other people had been towed in that same time frame. Note: most public parking in ********* is free after 6pm, and I had arrived around 7:40 to the lot and left the restaurant at 8:30. The tow company Mc-N-Mc Recovery stated over the phone that it would be $330 in cash and their address is **************, which is an approximate 26 minute drive from ************* to that location. This in and of itself should not be allowed as that is an exorbitant distance to travel to retrieve a car. When I asked if they could explain why it costs $330, they just said that it does and restated the amount. After looking online, it seems like the cost should at most be $250, how they landed on a $330 price point should be investigated. When I got to ********* location, I asked if ************* called them and the *** said no, they (Mc-N-Mc) will wait outside in the parking lot for people to "park illegally". This is the very definition of predatory towing and he said "it incentivizes us to pick up as many cars as possible". I'm sure their business is legit; however, there are three things that should be investigated: 1) the towing company is exceptionally far away and makes it next to impossible to get there without a car, which should not be allowed, 2) a private company is picking up cars on a so called "public lot" when its not public, and 3) the exorbitant cost of this towing fee which is broken down by a $280 charge and a $50 charge (likely for the labor cost associated with towing the car, which is above the standard federal rate) and is not clearly explained how they came to these costs and is likely elevated above what is allowed. Thanks!

My car which I legal registered in the state of ******** with valid tags was towed today. I was told by ***** that it was because I violated my communities standards and have not moved my car in 7 days. In review of my HOA rules there is no record of that rule. My car was towed illegally and now I must take action to have my car returned. ***** also explained that my HOA gave him a call today 3/8/24 to remove my car. This information is also false.

Negligence by this tow company caused the complete loss of my vehicle. My car was towed on 12/16/23 from an apartment complex parking lot for the infraction of taking up more than 1 parking spot. I had no clue I had been towed and called police to report it stolen. The vehicle was entered into the stolen car database by police and reported to my insurance company. After 30 days my insurance company confirmed the car had not been recovered, declared it a total loss, and paid me the $6,500 value of the vehicle. On the same day I received the insurance payout - 31 days after the vehicle had been towed - I received a certified letter from Mc-N-Mc telling me the car had been our their lot since 12/16 (and of course charges of $1,435 had accrued). This was the first and only notification I received, and it came far too late. By Maryland law they had to notify police within 90 minuets of the tow, follow up again within 3 business days, and notify both myself and the insurer of record within 7 business days. If ANY of these things had happened I would not have lost the car. When I notified the police on January 16 that the car had actually been towed, they had no idea and it was still in the stolen car data base. HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN?? Further, this LOCAL COMPANY with their main office located less than 2 blocks from my house, mailed the certified letter to me from Phoenix, Arizona - which took 9 days to be delivered. I am left to wonder if they are truly this negligent or have deliberate practices designed to ensure maximum billable charges. Either way, the car is lost to me and will be sold at auction by the insurance company who now owns it. All of this was completely avoidable had they simply followed the notifications process set by Maryland Law and County Code.

My vehicle was stolen by Mc-N-Mc Recovery LLC. The reasoning being the was that I was parked over the white line on my own parking space, this white line IS BETWEEN the two parking spots that are assigned to my unit. This towing company has a contract with the management company of the neighborhood to tow truck drivers' own discretion, as those drivers, drive through the community at random intervals every month. This was not a complaint made by a resident in the community, the only resident that could complain is ME because they are both MY ASSINGED SPOTS. I called the owner of the tow company, and proceed to start a dialog, after I had discovered that they had caused significant damaged one of my body panels. They had taken one photo of the vehicle showing I was over the line, but no others to show the condition of the vehicle before it was towed, this is standard procedure with a reputable tow company. After this point in the conversation. I will admit I got a little heated and called him a moron, after that he said "We didn't ******* do that" I said "you did do that, that damage wasn't there before you towed it" he then responded "Well obviously you can't drive" and I in turn said "Obviously you're a moron" After this he switched over to verbal assault saying " You're a *****, ****** n***** " followed by threat of battery " "I'm gonna kick your ***, I am 65, and I'm not ***** ****** n***** like you! I have nothing to prove" Come to find out, the tow company IS NOT INSURED, which is most likely the true reason for the verbal assault and threat. In addition to this I noticed my car was almost un-drivable when I got it back. YOU DO NOT DRAG TOW an all-wheel drive vehicle. In additional the body damage, the drive-train damage, they did further damage under the front of the vehicle when sliding the tow fork under the vehicle, this bent the supports for the inter-cooler, radiator, and AC condenser (these are located next tow each other at the front of the vehicle 12/5/22
