      On November 2, 2024 we filled out paperwork to reserve a site at ************************ in ********, **. On this day we paid for our first month stay and they told us we had to put a $250.00 deposit for electricity. I put the deposit on a separate card from the monthly rent/electricity. My husband lost his job on February 7, 2025 and we informed them that we would be leaving that day to go back home. They said they would read the meter and send us a receipt for our charges. We had already paid for the full month of February because we were not expecting to leave. Once we got a receipt with a refund of a portion of our money I called to try and understand what they had charged us for and when we could expect our electricity deposit back because it was not included on the final receipt. I left a message on February 10th and sent an email but I did not receive a return phone call. On Tuesday, February 11th I called multiple times and finally got an answer after leaving another message in the morning. They seemed very defensive and through the conversation I was hung up on 3 separate times. This was all done by the on-site management. I asked for the number to the oversight management company and they told me they would call me back with the number but I said I wanted to hold....again I was hung up on. Once I got ****** back on the phone she told me that she would not talk to me because I was not on the paperwork and she needed to speak to my husband *****. He was right next to me so I handed him the phone. The problem is I was on the paperwork because I filled it out and I am the veteran. The only reason we received a military discount at the site. I have reached out to the management company 3 times and we have continued to try to get an answer from ************** but they will not answer or respond. We want to understand our final bill and receive our refund on the deposit. My husband tried calling 3 times on February 12th but no answer.

      I have received a full refund and attached the receipt for proof. I am not sure if they ever saw this complaint but the situation is resolved. Thank you for the help!

      We have been seasonal campers at ****************** DE for the past several years. There have been ongoing concerns about the park and the amenities they claim they offer. We are not given sufficient time to review a renewal and deposit - less than 15 days. The pool has been closed on several occasions for several day for repairs to the liner, water quality and other concerns. The pool has been an ongoing issue that needs major repairs. We pay for our sites within the park however, any outsider is allowed entry into the park to use the amenities such as the park, batting cages, arcade, bounce pad or even just wander through the campground. This is a major safety and security concern in the park for our families and children.

      We had reserved to go to this campground for August *****th we were unable to go due to a family emergency and they kindly allowed me to move my dates out to a weekend I thought we would be able to still come. Recently I received my children's sports schedules and we will not be able to attend the weekend we planned to. I called them and they informed me that I would be forfeiting my entire payment since they moved my dates and "extended ****** before. Nothing in their policy states you will forfeit your money if you move your dates. Their policy states you must cancel before 14 days before check in to have your money refunded all but $20. They are saying their hands are tied and they cannot do anything. I am not in the position to just lose that much money especially when no one informed us that would be the case. We have gone to this same campground every year for our big family vacation with multiple families and we have referred many people to this campground because we have always had an amazing time. Now I don't believe we will ever go back. They have seriously gone down hill since ************ took over.
