    Bill *******, the owner of O'Brien HVAC, is a crook! He takes advantage of women. He serviced my AC unit back in February 2024, after I called and scheduled for a diagnostic. When he came, he just started working on my system without informing me of anything and once he was done, wrote out an invoice. I went ahead and paid, since I felt the price was reasonable but I thought to myself, what if I didn't have the money. So fast forward to present, I am currently placing my condo on the market, and during the inspection, the seller said the AC wasn't cooling, Because Bill was the last one to service my AC, I called him. I explained to Bill that I have moved out of state and I needed him to go to my condo and do a diagnostic to let me know what's wrong, how much it will be, and my realtor will meet him there. I gave him my card information for the diagnostic fee, sent him and my realtor a text explaining he has already been paid to diagnose the problem. Bill goes over to my condo, says he put freon in my AC unit without any authorization, and tries to charge my card for $1309 without giving me a diagnostic, a price or any notice. When I got the notification from my bank, I immediately called Bill with no answer. It's bad business and very unethical. I had to block my card to keep him from trying to charge it.

    Unfortunately, I made the mistake of contracting O'Brien HVAC Services. I wanted to hire a small local company to install a new HVAC system with a ******** 800 steam humidifier and hot water heater in my home. I thought I would get better service when the humidifier wasn't working at all, and my home became so dry that my daughter started to have nose bleeds. I contacted the business owner who made an appointment to stop over to trouble shoot the new system. I thought at this time the humidifier was working, however it wasn't working, and a red service light came on. I again contacted the owner Brian by phone and text message with no reply for 9 days. He again scheduled to stop over that Thursday or Friday morning to look again, however he never showed up or even took the time to contact me. I again contacted him by phone and text at which point he totally ghosted me for weeks until I left him a text that I was going to hire a different company to diagnose the issue with the ******** 800 steam humidifier and send him the invoice. He contacted me back by text message telling be to "crumble up the invoice a throw it in the trash". Not good customer service at all.
