I have been trying to get a billing issue resolved for 6 months. Last attempt was 3/1/2023. If required, I can provide all representative names of Community Radiology center I or my insurance company talked to. I had 2 procedures at Community Radiology Center in Olney MD ***** on 4/13/2022 and 8/23/22. On my first procedure on 4/13/2022 I paid $384.84 ($84.84 for the service and $300 deductible) The rest was paid by my ***** insurance. On the day of my second procedure on 8/23/22 I was asked to pay $383, but after I explained that I already have paid my deductible in April, I was told I can pay $83. Since September 2022 and every month afterwards I have been receiving a bill from Community Radiology Center with a request to pay the deductible of $300 again and again. I contacted my Signa insurance and had a conference call with Community Radiology Center about 5 times and explained the situation. All agents promised to place this payment on hold and not to send this payment to collections. On February 28 I received a collection letter from ******** ******* *******. Today, April 1 my insurance company contacted Community Radiology Center again, and they were told that Community Radiology Center never sent a claim to ***** for the 4/13/2022 procedure, that’s why this issue appears and they don’t want to remove the flag for collection. So, the issue is the fault of the Community Radiology Center employees, who never sent the claim for April 2022 procedure. Then even though they can see my payment for deductible of $300, they still want to charge me again. I have been trying to solve this problem for 6 months and am really frustrated by this situation. They stated there is a different claim and cannot apply my deductible to my second visit. Because of the carelessness of Community Radiology center personal I have to pay $300 of my pocket.
