    I retained AK public Adjusters around May 2024 after my insurance company denied my flood insurance claim. I was assigned *** ******* as my adjuster, I had been working closely with lan giving him documents and information regarding my claim. On June 20 2024 lan requested final documents to send over to the insurance company and then disappeared. I did not hear from him again until July 8th where he stated that his sister got married and he was moving but he reassured me that he compiled everything but was locked out of the system to submit the documents. On July 15th | asked for asked for an update. He reassured me again he was working on my claim, I sent him additional information via email. He never responded to my text. On July 22nd frustrated I called the office because lan was no longer responding to my text messages. I received a text message from the owner stating lan did reply to my messages followed by a screenshot of our last communications on July 15th. The owner stopped responding to my text messages then proceeded to text me stating that he was withdrawing from the claim and blocked me. lan then texted me later saying he was still working on the claim but his supervisor told him he had to drop it. I would like the company to either send the proper documents that they compiled so I can move forward with another claim adjuster or finish my claim. I am only allotted 180 days after my claim is denied by my insurance to file an appeal. I am already in my third month.

    Hello,

     

    Thank you for bringing this to my attention. As discussed with the client and the public adjuster, we have decided to no longer move forward with this claim. We have received multiple denials from the insurance company and have not received any payment from the insurance company or the named insured. With our cancellation, we have not charged the insured any fees or payments as we are deciding to withdraw ourselves from the claim.

    the public adjuster never submitted any documentation to the insurance company because he was not finished compiling all the information.

    Hello,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As stated before, this claim was denied and we have not received any payments from the insurance company nor are we charging the client for any payments during this claim when cancelling. Within us cancelling the contract, we will not be asking for any payments from the client or the insurance company and we will be withdrawing our claim rights from the insurance company.
