  This is a ZERO star rating!!! Terrible business!! We signed up for their $399 air duct/dryer vent cleaning service package. Within minutes of the tech being there he came to my husband and flashed a picture on his phone of "our" HVAC coils covered in mold and said that we would need a sanitizing and cleaning package and a UV light installed. We were shocked as our HVAC system is only a couple of years old. We asked him to leave the info and a quote and we would schedule that at a later date. Within minutes I received a call at work from their office trying to up-sell me on the $800 sanitizing package and that service plus installation of a UV light to prevent mold build up totaling $2500. I told them we could not afford that at this time and she continued to try to sell me on at least the sanitizing service. I declined. Today (2 weeks later) we had our HVAC fall maintenance done. My husband went down with the tech so he could get a first hand look at the mold problem in the coils. Our coils were spotless, and further, the access panel to the coils had been taped up when the system was installed and the tape had not been disturbed. In addition, my husband realized that the system in the picture the technician showed him was not even the same system that we have in our house. So the Pure Air technician showed us a photo of a moldy hvac system that was not ours, and tried to sell us $2500 in unnecessary services. Thankfully, we did not fall for their scam and will now be making sure that our community, the BBB, and all necessary HVAC agencies that they are accredited with are made aware of their dishonest business practices. Shame on this company!!!!

  Service was completed on 7/4/25 with personnel arriving at 4 PM. Initially, the service was advertised as $189 for whole-house duct/vent cleaning. When the technician arrived, he asked how many vents I had despite the advertised price covering the entire house. He proceeded with a method involving a tire compressor, which I found unconventional and questioned. I instructed him to stop as he was spreading dust throughout the house instead of cleaning.This caused my blood pressure to rise, and I developed severe headaches. Shortly after, the manager called to inform me that the price for duct cleaning would be higher than advertised. Despite the initial quote, they charged me $200.The company sent unprofessional personnel who not only spread dust in our household but also compromised our health. We struggled to breathe after the service. I am now requesting a full refund and await their response. This company needs to be investigated as they are engaging in deceptive practices. They are nothing short of scammers!

  This is such a scam company. They advertise a price of 98.00 to clean a dryer vent and believe me that is all they did and charged 575.00. They were in and out in 30 minutes. They stated it was because the vent was on the roof, but the dryer is on the second floor, right under the roof. This was basically scamming and scaring an elderly person into it because if they didn't their house would probably burn down. The customer service lady I called about it was rude and nasty and was basically reading from a training manual of how to deal with complaints. She would not even listen to me. This is one company that should never be allowed to go into any consumers homes ever.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
  If I could give a 0 star review I would. Unfortunately, it seems as if I'm not the first to leave a review along these lines. I likely should have read the reviews prior to scheduling Pure Air LLC for dryer duct cleaning.
  They are masters of misleading customers and masters of price deception. Not sure what they're doing is legal.
  We signed up for dryer duct cleaning with Pure Air and were told to expect price of around $89. Tech showed up to our house, was in and out in 15 minutes and charged us $260. Not only did the tech communicate almost nothing throughout the duration of the 15 minutes, he decided to perform additional "services" without receiving our consent and proceeded to charge us for these services, which is how he explained the variance between the $89 communicated over the phone and the $260 we were invoiced for. I'm not sure it's legal to charge people for work they never agreed to ahead of time, but considering Pure Air's indifference towards their customers, I would be surprised if they shared that same level of indifference towards the law.
  I'm not one to leave reviews but in this case I feel I would be doing the general public a disservice by not sharing our experience.
