I refused to pay them the amount they were asking for. I called the billing office and told the **** for Chesapeake Ear Nose and Throat that I was sending a letter to the Board Of Physicians and a letter to the ********************************. About the bad service that I received from them. They sent me a bill for $532.00. After I spoke with them and told them what I was going to do. They revised the bill to $53.57 . I would like to say thanks for the help that I have received from the BBB. thank you

For my visists to Chesapeake Ears, Nose, and Throat, I am being billed $40 per copay which is correct; however, they are billing me an additional $110 per visit for an initial visit and for follow-up visits. Both the billing department and the physician are claiming that it is considered a procedure when the physician puts a scope up my nostrils to check the results following my balloon sinuplasty procedure on 3/6/23. I should have been charged $110 for that procdure which I agree on; however, the initial and follow-up visits are not procdures and I should only be billed a $40 copay which is based on my current health insurance.

The follow up visits did include a procedure.  However, as a courtesy, we wrote off the procedure charges.
