      MD Furniture in Laurel, MD. The Business had committed to sale me a set of 4 chairs for $300 dollars and once we was at the end of the process tried to hike the price up 4 times the amount. This happened on January 7th of this year 2023. I want the better business bureau to help get me the set of chairs for the price that I was offered.

      On the date stated above around 1:00 my mother and I entered the store looking to purchase furniture and view the inventory. As we where walking around we had this young gentlemen walk with us and talk with us, upon that happening I came across some chairs that I really liked and wanted to negotiate a better price than what they where offering. I asked if they could drop the price to $300 dollars for a set of 4 chairs and if I could have them put on layaway. He went to go check with his supervisor and came back and said they had agreed to sale me the chairs for $300 on layaway but that I might want to consider doing financing so that I could walk out with my chairs the same day since both the layaway payments and financial payments would be the same. We then proceeded with the final step of signing my name of paper and in reviewing all the information I noticed that the price was put down as $1200 and not $300. I said something about this and he involved his supervisor. I told her what was going on and she said " we can't sale you the chairs for $300 it'll have to be $300 each". I said "no you guys agreed to $300 for a set of 4 chairs and that's what you have to honor" she tried to say that around the store it states the pricing for each chair which it did not. I showed her what my mother and I had seen and even took pictures and she refused to sale to me the chairs for the price that was agreed upon and I already put in my information for financing and had been approved.       This William owner of MD Furniture I'm aware of situation! Costumer is confused each chais is $399. After discount each chair was offered to costumer for $300 each. Costumer thought was $ 399 for 4 chairs! At time of check out costumer wanted to pay $300 for 4 chairs which we couldn't do at all!!
      We apologized to costumer for the missed understanding but still the costumer got all upset and left!
      Costumer has not purchased anything yet so we can not release that merchandise at that price!!
      Costumer interested in 4 chairs total $1200. After discount

      Like I stated before the salesperson that they had negotiating, everything did not tell me that it was $300 for each chair. I am not confused nor was I confused on that day. The sales person never stated to me that it was $300 per chair. otherwise I would have not taken that deal. He told me that he could do $300 for four chairs total, I expect for this to be resolved and for it to be honored as it was told to me. His supervisor as I was leaving the establishment I had seen her on the phone with someone now I'm aware of who she was on the phone with, however, please keep in mind that she was not the one that I negotiated with and she is not the one that was telling me the prices so she cannot translate. What happened that day as she was not the person I spoke with until after everything happened.
