      Terrible installation and repairs service. I went to NS&M bc the manufacturer (*****) suggested them. I figured they must be ok then. Other NS&M locs had good ratings, this loc was not rated.

      They sold me two lifts ok, but, it went downhill after that.

      They had difficulty installing the lifts correctly. Yeah, these were big chairs for residential homes - but they were for residential homes.

      When I rode the lifts, one tilted me forward and both were rough & noisy rides and I hardly had any room to mount and dismount. They seemed to think that was perfectly ok. They got their expert out, nice enough guy, who fiddled with things, reinstalled both lifts several times, made the tilting and noise a little better and gave me some more room. But after a few months, the lifts were making noises and the one to the basement was tipping way forward - to the point the footrest was dragging on steps and could not be used. I called to get service. I had to wait a while for someone to come out. They fiddled again, said a rail was defective on the upstairs, and some other defect for the basement lift causing the tilt, and that they would have to talk to the manufacturer on what to do and get back to me.

      Weeks and weeks go by with no call, so I called. The lady answering the phone apologized and said she would have the service guy give me a call. More weeks and weeks go by, no call. Then the upstairs lift stopped altogether on a holiday weekend. I called and left a message - but no-one ever called me back after the holidays. Meanwhile, warranties have expired.

      I paid another company to fix them. He said it was a blown fuse in the one that stopped, but both rails and chairs lifts were installed incorrectly, and it wasn't safe to have left the chair without a functioning footrest.

      So, I tried for total of six months to get them to come out and fix what should have been under warranty. The time they did come out they left it unsafe.

      I recommend going somewhere else.

      They must have me confused with someone else. Nobody has contacted me from this business. I still have the equipment. This is still open and a valid comment as far as I am concerned. I'm not asking for any remuneration from this company or even at this point, I've given up on getting a simple apology. I just putting my experience with National Seating & Mobility out there so that others will know the kind of service I got and buyer beware.
