    This complaint is about the Rosa Mexicano at ******** ******, MD Address: 153 Waterfront St, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. The Washington DC location is no longer in business and the online system could not find this location. Over 8 online transactions with the restaurant I was charged more than double the local tax rate of 6%. The total that I was overcharged is $28.44. A manager named ****** told me over email that he would process the refund but never did. Now they will not reply even after sending letters to the corporate office, though they finally fixed the tax rate. I have all of my receipts.

    Good afternoon,

    We use a universal ***** POS system. For some reason during a live update in one of our other states the ******** ****** location also updated. This was a system glitch and once identified corrected on all ends. **** the guest did reach out to us directly. 

    I immedielty processes the refund and also sent him another additional $100 gift card that he has been in and used.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    While I did receive the $100 gift card, I have not been in and used it yet or checked to make sure that it is actually loaded with one hundred dollars.  I have been informed that a case has been opened with the ***** company that processes the online payment system for Rosa Mexicano and I am awaiting response about the refund.
